I remember when this was one of the hardest field bosses to fight, great memories of feeling dread for not being able to ascend hydro characters for a while.
@@7nage you can spam lisa tap E and let electro do its thing. paired her with noelle or barbara for survivality if you want.I play with starter team and my friend asked me to help them back in the day(klee can't reach the bird iirc) but yeah, ocenid is the most annoying boss for newbie for sure cuz all of her summon hits hard, birb is too high and frog/duck's self bomb AOE is so large.
@@7nage Honestly it's just a poorly designed boss overall; there was a somewhat better version of it we had for an event while ago but they unfortunately never changed how this and a few early bosses work which is saddening since a lot of those bosses would be a major turn away for a new player.
@@sitachan5778 you need bait in oceanid for newbie, most of them are quite fast in attack. frog and water heron does range atk. newbies will be eating a lot of atk like meto in this video
@@godtierbp1928 honestly the boss is actualy fine, but theres no clue or hint how to deal with the mechanism for newbies. its a bit complicated without hints, after death they didnt even tell newbies what exacty good to fight oceanid, only text of warning to upgrades characters, artifacts, weapons. . i remember i was glad i pick ganyu in my 1st acc fighting oceanid, i didnt realized how important it is to bring bait skill, cryo to freeze, large range atk to deal with the flying birds
Aside from the fact that she is afraid of the frog...Her first team consist of two hydro which mainly use hydro attack against a pure hydro enemy is very hilarious(Also only Lynette as the only dps too)😂A little bit painful because new player who fight against Oceanids had a hard time if they don't level up and bring our lovely auto shooting bot Fischl and Oz duo too...

man genshin really improved my rpg gameplay for real and this is the most annoying boss when i first play lol this is so refreshing..toto also struggle cutely!
Yeah many newbies like me when we discovered Oceanid Basically when u start in genshin Oceanid is the boss u dont want to fight But now im lvl 60 and all my characters are lvl 90 It's very easy now
