I was told that it would be a good idea to install a "gear" type hidden tilt with a "ti" louver that gets screwed instead of 2 divider rails because it is over 94" tall. (Shutters over 90" have to have 2 divider rails but then I could not use the gear system.Have you ever heard of that?
Yes, most shutters have one louver per section done with screws on either side of the panel. This is primarily done for tension control, not stability. I'm sure it adds some support though. The shutter company that you are looking at obviously is less stable than the one we showed, because ours does not require 2 divider rails at 94". We can help with your project if you'd like.
