It's a tragedy his bail was only $1000 for the charge of running ove Erica's leg. I was happy to hear the person responsible for lowering bonds was called out.

Yes, I believe the same way. When I was very young I was unaware of the horrible treatment blacks had to endure even after slavery was abolished. I don't think this was a hate crime, just that he could not hold his temper. I think the awful past is somewhere in the mix, possibly. I'm Caucasian and when I learned of all the past I was appalled. His woman, Ms. Patterson aka his punching bag, held up beautifully under Brooks questioning/ he was trying so hard to act tough, he failed considerably.

She gave him multiple chances to treat her better ,he betrayed her trust. I think that's what burns him, she succeeded, where he failed. I know right she even told them at one time what it meant he didn't even have to look it up he's so arrogant cocky and rude that he just has to look stupid on national TV instead of taking her advice. It's like the word of the week, even if he thinks he knows it, he uses it to death in every possible instance. When he struts up to his imaginary podium, he reminds me of George Jefferson's jaunty gait.
Then when he tried to just directly submit all his testimony as evidence (ie bypass having to testify to it and be cross examined about it) and she told him that would literally be textbook hearsay, all he could say was “…it was not hearsay, your honor” in that same petulant tone of voice. That whole tack that boiled down to “nuh uh, your honor” was literally his entire strategy for a huge chunk of the trial.
There’s nothing wrong with him. He has to act that way so he can be in medical ward and not in general population. He’s going to act sick and/or crazy in order to stay away from general population. He’s scared s***less.
The appeal-board will damage themselves laughing on P1 of his appeal - it'll have 'DENIED' penned all over it before they reach the bottom of that page !.
It is a theory of mine that narcissists and sovereign citizens (and Brooks is both) are very suspicious and untrusting of others. If someone, such as Judge Dorow, provides him something and says she thinks it will help or assist him, Brooks' mind automatically thinks she's lying and that whatever she just gave him will only hurt him, and thus will not take the advice or use what was provided. Same would go with reverse psychology: tell him to do something (or not do something) and Brooks will do the opposite solely because he has to be argumentative.

Everytime he tried that I don't understand stuff he would then turn and argue something like the jury view or when he tried to throw out the charging instrument. that is like she said pretty sophisticated. The judge proves daily that she has jurisdiction over him by the fact that he has to be cuffed to a table, not free to go where he pleases, he has to sleep in the jail, etc. Clearly she has FULL jurisdiction over his rear-end. He’s in control of NOTHING!
This pos knew exactly what he was doing from start to finish. Unfortunately for him, so did the judge and prosecution. This trial was really a formality, he committed these atrocities on video in front of hundreds of witnesses. He murdered 6 people and injured dozens in broad daylight at a public/televised event. He knew he was booked. Since hes incapable of remorse or accountability, knew the evidence against him was more than overwhelming and that upon conviction hed never walk free again. He knew his only chance was to try to force a mistrial, goat the judge/prosecution into snapping on him so he could claim bias, stall/delay, and/or force something he could use on appeal. No licensed attorney would risk their job/reputation to help Brooks walk on 6 murders. And in his small mind he thought he could use representing himself to his advantage with the I don't understand. Even when the judge ruled in his favor, closing arguments for example, she decided to allow him to do it and he still objected. Its all about stall, delay, piss off the judge/prosecution, claim he doesn't understand...and when everything he tried failed, jury nullification was his hail Mary. You can see him get more and more aggressive as he realizes that the judge is nailing him to the wall. She gave him so much leeway and time to talk/make arguments she was nothing but respectful and kind. All of that with a clear record. Hes screwed and knows it.
Darrell Brooks wanted to make his "Zemption Velable", or however he says it. So basically he was trying to withdraw himself from the case and leave DARRELL .E BROOKS without a lawyer!

I am having a hard time trying to understand why this fool even went to trial. He was caught on camera leaving his mother's house going to Wakesha. the incident with Erika. Corrie and Nick was recorded, then driving through the parade. fleeing from the parade and finally his arrest. every single thing was recorded. Yet he was foolish enough to proceed.

Darrell is so narcissistic and that is exactly why he represented himself, he truly believes no one could do a better job then him. Also, I honestly think he wanted to represent himself so he had the spotlight, that is exactly why he appeared via zoom for the court case regarding shooting at his nephew. He is represented by an attorney for that case, however, Darrell knew if he turned up to Court with his attorney that the camera wouldn’t be fully on him, he would have to share the limelight, that is the reason he chose to be there via zoom so at all times there was a camera wholly and solely on him. I bet though, when it comes to his court case regarding running over Erika Patterson, Darrell will represent himself again so he gets to cross examine Erika himself, he 100% believe’s he owns Erika, it’s sick and cruel!!! 😢
True & she still like him & want to see him again too, in my opinion because, if not; she can do a no-show, like his nephew did! I’m glad to say; in 2024, brooks pled out Erika’s case. He got beat up & wanted to get out of Milwaukee. Erika didn’t show up. I’m glad that’s over in 2024.
Yes & I believe that his last attorneys told him; if he pled, it’s still life in prison. Also, they wasn’t buying those “McDonalds” sov-cit law internet printouts that he wanted them to present or argue for or against. They would have lost their license.

The anniversary of this ATTACK is coming up and my heart hurts for the families of the deceased and the injured. I’m not sure if you’re aware, but his trial is coming up for the EP case. His lawyers just filed a motion to dismiss. He is going to represent himself pro per (lmao) again 😅😂

It does not matter the color of our skin or what life circumstances you come from. If you hurt another human being, you deserve punishment to the fullest.. Yep & he lied on that video (before parade, on RU-vid) when he said; his friends fell out with him due to him being on the registry. He lied & said he wasnt charged with sexual seduction of a minor, but he was. ( and they saw the trial when his criminal record was read) That’s probably why he got that busted face & blackeye in Milwaukee recently. He may have ran into some of those guys. He later pled out and begged to go back to max prison in 2024, afraid of being in a trial in Milwaukee !
I accept for value and return for value this document……he stated this every time they handed him a piece of paper. It simply means I don’t accept this document and don’t agree with what it says. The kicker on all this is that it doesn’t matter whether it’s a paper the judge is providing him for his benefit, or a document that the prosecutor is giving him in discovery or any filings that he requested from the clerk of courts….,. He doesn’t accept it HOWEVER…… if he wasn’t given any of this paperwork then he would claim it’s a rush to judgement because he never received it. In other words it’s not fair to him if he doesn’t receive paperwork that he’s not gonna accept in the first place

(On why Darrell was his own attorney) -- Darrell had no foresight and no viable contingency plan past the sovereign citizen nonsense. He truly believed that it was a cheat code to get the case dismissed. Once that failed.... All he was able to do (other than acting like cartoon character) was turn to his 3 boxes and pull the file out for the witnesses. He probably didn't even put the files he took out back in the correct boxes and correct order they originally were, because as the trial goes on, he's having trouble finding his paperwork. And then starts acting disruptive, argumentative and childish to stall, delay and disrupt.
Or when he was in the other court room, no earphones on yet hears the judge say he's reading a book. He put the earphones on and said it's not just a book.....right there another instance proving he could hear just fine.
