What an exciting day this was for Southern California. I was on the rooftop of a parking garage in Hnntington Beach and it flew right in front of us. Made me proud to be an American seeing that awesome sight.

Like a proud mother, showing off her beautiful baby. What a proud moment for Los Angeles, and a dignified end to America's proud space shuttle program.

That day was so awesome!

Ahh I saw it fly over my school today! Interesting view and really amazing they kept the school outside to see it and oh how shock I was to see it so close since it was flying to LAX

I was still in middle school and lunch time when it flew around above our school, I think I was in 7th grade when I was just soooo happy seeing such an amazing once in life time moment view and just seeing it again it brings me the same joy I had as a 12 year old, I think a year after not sure if my brother did or I think my school did they took to a field trip to the California science center nearby USC and I remember seeing the space shuttle up close in person and I was fucking mind blown on how huge it was and how much stuff I was learning from reading information about it from it’s construction and history, overall it’s a great memory I’ll cherish and for the ones who yes LA has terrible smog we have alerts where the air is bad to breathe

That big 'ol plane woke me up today! I was sleeping and like at 12:30 I heard this big loud sound that made me think that terrorits were attacking! :D Never heard a plane so loud before in my house.

Wow! Awesome video that was an amazing sight to see. There were a lot of people out for that very cool. That 747 sits out at the Houston space center with the mock shuttle Independence sitting g on top. That was an amazing solution for transportation of the shuttle.

This is so fucking awesome. At first you're like "that's pretty cool" but then it keeps circling around....VICTORY LAPS!
