Shuttle Escapement on Dial - Robotic Automation System 

This machine clip highlights a method for loading singulated parts from a vibratory bowl feeder and vibratory inline track, into a dial plate nest for a machine with a very high rate. Instead of loading the parts one by one like in a traditional slower machine. This machine is "4-up" where it processes 4 parts at a time throughout the machine. This allows rates of 120 parts per minute or greater. A servo driven shuttle system loads 4 parts from a vibratory inline track, and a pneumatic pick and place system picks the 4 parts and loads them into the nest of the indexing system.
