#ShuvItCancerDay is an awesome charity event to help raise funds for cancer research, begun by an incredibly rad Scottish gal, Elaine Shallcross. Diagnosed with cancer, Elaine decided, it's time to try something new, and challenged herself, having never been on a skateboard, to attempt a Pop ShuvIt today, July 10th, her birthday.
Elaine passed, sadly, on June 10th, but not before she had already set in motion an inspirational challenge that has taken the skateboarding world by storm. Her story of dedication, and never being out of the game, had a major impact.
Thank you Elaine for helping me shake the rust off this skater!
