None of this would have been possible without the transport volunteers and Muffin's foster Mama. To many people give the excuse that they don't want to foster because it would be hard to give the animal up. It is tough but so rewarding. These pets just need a chance to find a forever home. There are organizations in practically every city that have foster programs set up. Please consider fostering to save the life of an innocent animal.

Thank you for showing the role of the volunteer transporters in the rescue process. I have limited time, but I drive legs of transports on weekends whenever I can. And I fall in love with each and every one of them. It takes a village for sure.

I just have to say- bless those people for having Gibsburg safely, properly tied up _and_ being prepared to have Muffin tied the same way. Far too many owners either don't do it at all or think they've done it right but haven't. Dogs/cats can be injured and killed in car crashes just the same as humans. Do not think "I just won't get in a car crash" because that's not how the world works.

Muffin is ADORABLE!! She just wanted a great home with lots of love, and she got it! Ginsberg is the cutest little critter and I was happy to see that they get along so well together! Muffin just looked at her new home, looked at the three of you, and thought to herself "There's a new sheriff in town, and I am now ALPHA!" You're right, adoption is the only way to go! Thank you for being such great parents to those two adorable pups!

dogs are the BEST thing to EVER happen to humans!!! they work their way into our hearts and become our kids .. they teach UNCONDITIONAL LOYALTY AND LOVE !!!!!! I lost my baby in 2004 and i still miss her ! there are days that i don't think about her maybe 2 in the last 14years ..As Will Rogers said when i get to heaven and there are no dogs SEND ME TO WHERE THEY GO !! if you have never loved a dog then your soul is incomplete and you will NEVER know what UNCONDITIONAL LOYALTY AND LOVE is and i feel sorry for you!!

I was so impressed with the way this couple reacted when they first met Muffin. No high pitched squeals or fast moves. They made sure to speak softly and let Muffin get used to them at her own pace. Then they took the dog home and tortured it by putting it in a costume!! ROFL😄😄😄😉

I dont know why I torture myself watching this type of thing...I lost my house when my mom died, and I got sick, and had to give up our dogs...I am very glad that they were all taken by the same lady, and they did not get split up

Oh Muffin those ears are priceless. What a wonderful family. Fostering is one of the hardest and most rewarding things I have done. It is good lesson for adults and children on helping and loving and letting go. Yes it hurts but there is always more out there that need help

We adopted a foster dog. Our little doggie, Harley, was surrendered 3 times to a dog pound and had been in 7 homes before he found his forever home with us. When we got him, he was only 1 1/2 years old. He's a bit nervous and also quirky but I think it's because of those formative months. Love your pups and try to be patient with them -- you will become a better human being.

Wow all the volunteers all the people who drove muffin to where she needed to go are just beautiful souls. To put everything on hold to drive a furbaby to where they need to be is such a beautiful act of compassion and love for animals. It really warms my heart.

Really appreciate the fact that these dog owners had their dog in a saftey harness in the back seat of the car where a dog belongs. These two are adorable and will be the best of friends for the rest of their lives! I always have 2 digs at a time so they never feel lonely. It's no more work than having 1.

Yesterday I put in an application for a small dog at our Humane Society. 2 applications are ahead of me but I connected with that little baby boy deeply. The animal aid he's never warmed up like he is with you. Unfortunately it's first come first serve so if the other 2 applicants bow out Edwin would be mine. I put my 17 year old Chihuahua Rocky down Nov. 2017. This was the first time I allowed myself to connect. Maybe the other 2 apps. will change their minds. Everyone say a little prayer for me. Ya never know...thanks

Thanks from me and my dog. She was rescued in Texas and transported to RI. We just shared some cheese puffs and go hiking in the mountains almost daily. What these people did made a dog and a man very happy.

It's most likely a dachshund and chihuahua cross. They're called "chiweewees" and they're one of the most overhyped "designer" dogs that small time breeders breed, ultimately fail to sell for hundreds of dollars, and then abandon.

LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!!! There are so many bad people out there that it's always overwhelming to me when I see such perfect people adopt!!! They know, like many of us, that it's all about the pet. Giving them time to settle and get to know you and their surroundings. Many animals have been punished & hit, abused, for things they can not help. I love these happy ones.......I wish all of them could be like this.......
