Shylmagoghnar - As All Must Come To Pass [Reaction/Review] 

It's wonderful that you did this, thank you very kindly! Same goes for Ochoj1988: thank you for supporting us this way! I've said this many times before, but we are convinced that if it weren't for people like yourself, this project would have never gotten off the ground. It's something we don't take for granted I'd also like to add my reaction to the video in case someone would like to know more about the background of it. First of all, it's such a pleasure to see you guys enjoying the song/video as it plays (air guitars never lie). In my mind I'm still the 15-year-old kid practicing guitar in his bedroom, listening to all the great bands and dreaming of making music one day, so now that we're here and I'm seeing a video like this it is quite an indescribable feeling. It makes me hope that another kid who just picked up an instrument sees this and gets inspired to follow their own dream. About the band name: You pronounced it correctly and we of course get a lot of reactions to that. I don't know why other bands do it, but in our case it's because we were specifically going for something that sounds otherworldly which fits with the feeling we have while writing the music. You were describing that feeling when you said that the song took you along with its atmosphere, but it wasn't really linear. It sort of just goes wherever it feels like going. That's how we usually feel when writing the music as well, so we picked a name that to us seems organic but not expected. We hope that the name makes the listener's fantasy flow. I should also add to this though that we picked this name very early on, when the project was strictly a dream between the two of us. We didn't expect this project to be heard by more than 10 people so... I'd say it was the exact opposite of picking a complex name for the sake of getting attention from the outside world! About the video: this was very much the brainchild of our visual artist Minghao Xu (Void Visuals), who is also the guy behind our album covers. He has been a close friend and also an avid supporter of the project from the earliest moments. He had been wanting to do a video clip for one of our songs for years, so now that it finally became a possibility he immediately jumped at the opportunity. The vision of the video was very much his own and with the exception of the 3D rigging&animation it was all done by him alone. We were hoping for a video that radiated his personality, while also connecting to the tone of the music. We feel that is exactly what it became! Glad you are liking that bass so much btw, we've been wanting to do something like that for a while :) Maybe it's something we'll revisit in a future song. For me their Album Transience is my fav of the year so far.

Hello A&P! This band is two men project. This is their second album. First one was their own produktion and it had about 1,5 milloin views In you tube when they got the napalm records deal. This song is more from their Black side. They are melodeath/black band and have no bad songs In their albums. I highly recommed you to listen both of their albums. 🤘

Shylmagoghnar - I am the Abyss :3

A friend of mine clued me into this band. Their name is a bit of a challenge, but their stuff is really good. It's amazing how many bands are creating kick ass metal right now.

Ah, you guys reacted to my favourite band! Really glad you liked it, the two people behind this are the most talented in the music industry in my opinion. If you want to do more from them, you should go with Transience or No Child Of Man Could Follow for some amazing melodies and vocals or I Am The Abyss for a beautiful instrumental.

Just had my CD/Shirt Arrive in the mail for Transience album.. Then I see this video.. Awesome /m/ So happy their music is being heard world wide! Definitely not linear, and more like telling a story.. Like a famous composer(s) would. The band has amazing influences and "tapped" into a collaboration I've never heard before. I believe "Atmospheric" is a word the band uses to describe themselves as well.. :) Cheers from Canada.

I'm so glad that you chose to feature one of this band's songs on your channel. SHYLMAGOGHNAR are such a special and outstanding band that deserve much more attention than they have been getting so far. These guys are true visionaires who create a very unique version of black metal (or blackened melodic death metal or whatever label you might want to use). Atmospheric, melodic, touching, haunting, progressive (in composition, but not too technical as far as the use of their instruments is concerned) and simply beautiful. You will want to check out some material from their self-released debut as well. I recommend the title track "Emergence". \m/

According to the band the reason for the name is as follows....."We were looking for a sound that described the energy and emotions we felt while working on the music. Because of the inherent abstractness, we decided to create our own word from syllables which held power or personal meaning to us - like a chant. The result was complex and bizarre; just the way we wanted it. Over the years the name has taken on a life of its own in our minds and means something different for both of us. We hope that once people get used to the name, it will evoke imagery in their fantasies."

Battle Beast - Eclipse Beast in Black - Beast in Black or Fifth Angel Both bands write songs heavily influenced by the Anime/Manga Berserk but I love the raw energy they put out in their music.
