Si Ferry Meets...Alex Rae - Falkirk, Millwall, Sunderland, Wolves & Return to Rangers 

Just come across this interview so it seems a bit late to comment but for what it’s worth I must say Alex Rae is one really nice man I meet him once when he was playing for millwall and living in Kent I meet him though a friend. I was cab driving at the time and a friend of mine was at a party at alexs house and asked me to pick him up when I got near I couldn’t find his house I told him I was by a pub which he knew and said wait there which I did Alex turn up in under 5 minutes it turn out that his house was about 1 mile away thats when I realised how fit this man was has he had been drinking all night and still run a mile in under 5 minutes he got in the car and gave me directions to his house when I got their I was made so welcome by Alex and his wife that instead of picking up my friend I ended up partying to the early hours of the morning. I really hope he is still with his wife as they were a really nice couple his wife was so friendly and beautiful that she would have been captain of any wags club.

One of those players you hated but would have him in your team in a minute. Great interview and AR comes across as a genuine good guy

Not my team but honestly, great that Alex had the chance to go back and play for his team, lucky winning it, but that’s football. He’s been through a lot and from which he has definitely demonstrated, he’s a survivor.

Hi Alex. Celtic fan here. Loved this. You wound me up as a rangers player and still wind me up as a pundit occasionally. But I love the honesty and blunt approach even on your pundit gig. Just like I love Sutty; Big John and Ally. This was great.
