Brilliant interview, totally not the perception I had of Steven Fletcher. Always thought he’d be dour like Caldwell lol. Some great stories.

I saw him at Easter Road every home game when he was breaking into the Hibee first team. Wasn't too impressed at first then WOW he turned on the style became prolific against every opponent LOVED his goal against the lesser greens from Darkheid and his goals added to wee Benjelloun were magnificent to give us the trophy that day against Ayrshire Killie boyz. Hibees were EASILY the best footballing side in that era poor goalkeepers cost us dearly or it'd have been league titles too. Wonderful video where Fletch was frank and we notice he never had a bad word to say about any player or manager. Top bloke Steven your Dad would be so proud son! GGTTH

I remember big Fletch when he was young player for Hibs at Ibrox , i thought Rangers should have signed him then, he was a bloody pest, good in the air, and very decent on the floor, was not surprised he was a success down south, decent big fella, really matured as a player, looks a lot fitter now.
