SI ZENTNER WNEW TV 5 DECEMBER 31, 1966
New Years Eve December 31, 1966, WNEW TV 5 had a special broadcast of 8 big bands. This video has the sound track on a reel of Scotch 202 tape recorded on my old Kalimar 1600 recorder from an RCA console TV/FM/Phono. The sound is mono since TV sound back then was only mono. This video is of Si Zentner.
Pardon the clicks which were caused by my first stereo recorder Lafayette RK-860.
From beginning to end of this RU-vid video, the sound s from my analog tape at 7.5 ips. I was lucky to find a film of songs 3 and 4 on RU-vid which I have hopefully synchronized well enough with the sound.
The film clip was labeled 1965. I could have possibly labeled my tape 1966 since the New Year was 1966.
