I love this version so much! Sia puts a lot of breathless soul into her songs, where as Christina has a lot of Power in all of her songs. Both versions are great but I feel this version speaks to your heart a bit more.

I love this version so much. It has so much emotion in each of the lines and it feels authentic. The Xtina one just feels so, I don’t know what to feel about it thb 😬😂

Both have amazing voices. Sia sings it more smoothly and kind of simply. Christina gives it her own style and energy. Both are wonderful and stop comparing them.
People need to realize that sia penned this song! And she let christina have it. Im so happy sia made this into a full song with her singing it. When i heard christinas version i was sooooo very disappointed bc it does not live up to sias version.

For those asking about the lack of verses; Sia writes her music from the bottom up--just getting a melody and dabbling around with some random stuff. Her an Xtina made the lyrics later.
I think as well, Sia is telling you a story and you are living it and feeling every emotion when she sings. Christina's version lacks that (for this particular song), however there is another Christina demo where its a little more raw and is better than the recorded. She needs to hook back up with Linda Perry and do another Beautiful - the live CNN Heroes version is amazeballs ;)

I can't listen to Christina's version of this song not after hear sia's version ! Sia's has a haunting voice she put more soul / feeling to her version it's like I can feel that she means ever words in the song
I think both are very emotional. But maybe our emotions react different when we listen a belter like Xtina or a soft singer like Sia... In my opinon Blank Page is one of Xtina's best songs ever, and Breathe Me is my fave from Sia, and they are very different... But that's the good thing, we all like different things... And that's great!
Had Sia of given the song to Leona it wouldn't be the same amazing song Christina developed. Christina made the song whole with the incredible lyrics she added.
I'm a huge fan of Chrtina and Sia too and I'm happy about they work together. I love both of them, they have different style, different voice but they have equal gift. I love this song, I love the way Sia performs it, but it means something different if Christina sings... I don't know why.
I agree with the people who say they can't understand what she's saying lol as soon as she started singing I was like "what? Wait, is she speaking in English????" But I still like her voice so it doesn't matter :D I listen to songs in different languages, I can't understand them, but I still like the music and the person's voice.
The only part that this version is better than Xtina it's in the chorus. How can someone say Xtina's version is heartless when herself wrote the majority part of this song? They're both stunning, but I like Christina better.
I don't think you understand the difference between writing lyric and melody. People pay more attention to the melody than the lyric and I assume Sia wrote all of the Melody and this Christina piece added a few words.
Dude Christina didn't write on it. I had heard this song from Sia for years before Christina had it on her album. Sia wrote this song for Leona Lewis initially
This version was written 100% by SIA and SIA only, the new version recorded for fattina has altered and changed a bit for her, that version has both sia and christina input. Which to me fell flat. Sia's is more authentic, I'm so happy they uploaded this, it's beautiful, even extra large xtina's loud ass voice couldn't out do sia.
