Hi there my name is Lizbeth I am 21years old and im deaf this song touched my heart even if I can't hear the sign language helped I really want to become a singer but im afraid people wont like me and since im deaf I dont go out of my house l just want to say thanks sia because now people like me have hope!!!!!!
Never let anything stop you from your dreams. I love the sign language in this video as it showcases the beauty of music in sign form. My son is deaf and loves music, is in band and can play several instruments.
Hey Lizbeth, I know it's 4 months old now the post but don't let no one tell you to not go after your dreams. If you want o sing go after it, it may not be easy at first, that's true, but that's not motive to give up. In the truth that's motive to try even harder. If you don't go out very much try to record videos. If you don't like to appear try only you voice. If you need someone to listen and say how it is I'm here (and I do believe plenty people will be too). Good luck and be brave o/
@@Link-jn6mzI recommend her earlier music. This song was taken from the cd ,people have real problems!. The whole cd is incredible. She also sang with a group 20 years ago zero 7 which is amazing. This song believe it or not is even better sang live,I suggest the letterman show example. Your welcome.
It doesn't fucking matter whether Sia is beautiful or not. This is why she covers her face. You "fans" really aren't getting it. She wants you to focus on her music, not her face. It's about privacy and what's important. So what if she is ugly? So what if she is beautiful? She makes beautiful music and that's what you should be focusing on.
I watch this and several other Sia videos every few days just to bring peace and balance to my soul. Sometimes I cry, sometimes I dream, but always end each song with a sigh and a smile.
My daughter had a sia wig on Roblox and I googled her and showed her sia, and now here I am watching her music videos back in 09? She's amazing 😍 you can tell she didn't really want to make her face known even back then. Love her and her work.
Okay…… Yesterday i heard “Breath me” for the first time…… i listened at least 50 times (live version in Sidney…) I looked her up and listened to more songs…… You know, I am 65 years old….. Grew up with Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Rory Gallagher and many many more……. Most of today music?? 🥴 (sorry but not my thing) But…… here she is! Thanx for keeping my faith in music…. From my heart Greetings from cold dark and snowy Sweden 💝
55, here in midwest U.S. i've been listening to Sia since the early 2000s. she's always bowled me over. i'm glad you found her fantastic collection. proof positive that music transcends ALL demographics. ❤❤❤
Have you heard the Lady Croissant version of Breathe Me…. It’s my favorite … very powerful I cry every single time. Actually the entire album is amazing
The aesthetics of pre-commercial success Sia are spectacular. Post success they re still great, don't get me wrong, but they are so much more polished and produced now.
This is the last music video I showed to my mom, she loved it, said it is very special and beautiful. Today, 10 years since she passed away and every once in a while when I hear this song on the radio, it brings back the memories of her last days back in late August 2009. I know we’re lost but Soon We’ll Be Found…
don't care about her face tbh i only care about her songs and her message to people she's basically the best artist right now she helped me a lot figure out my personality okay what i wanna say is sia the greatest and will always will to me
Sami kurosaki are you Japanese because I am too since is one of the most beautiful people I have ever seen I love sia sia I love you so much I would give you a big hug!!!!!😀😀😀😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊☺😊😊😇😇😇😇😇😢😢😢😢😢😢👽👽👽👽👽👽👽 sorry I love emojis
LYRICS Come along it is the break of day Surely now, you'll have some things to say It's not the time for telling tales on me So come along, it won't be long 'til we return happy Shut your eyes, there are no lies in this world we call sleep Let's desert this day of hurt, tomorrow we'll be free, yeah Let's not fight, I'm tired, can't we just sleep tonight? Don't turn away, it's just there's nothing left here to say Turn around, I know we're lost but soon we'll be found Well, it's been rough but we'll be just fine We'll work it out, yeah, we'll survive You mustn't let a few bad times dictate So come along, it won't be long 'til we return happy Shut your eyes, there are no lies in this world we call sleep Let's desert this day of hurt, tomorrow we'll be free Let's not fight, I'm tired, can't we just sleep tonight? Don't turn away, it's just there's nothing left here to say Turn around, I know we're lost but soon we'll be found Woah, yeah Ohh Ohh, woah! Let's not fight, I'm tired, can't we just sleep tonight? Don't turn away, it's just there's nothing left here to say Turn around, I know we're lost but soon we'll be found Let's not fight, I'm tired, can't we just sleep tonight? Don't turn away, it's just there's nothing left here to say Turn around, I know we're lost but soon we'll be found I know we're lost but soon we'll be found (Don't turn away) (It's just there's nothing left here to say) I know we're lost but soon we'll be found (Turn around) I know we're lost but soon we'll be found (I know we're lost but soon we'll be found) Yeahh I know we're lost but soon we'll be found (Don't turn away) (It's just there's nothing left here to say) I know we're lost but soon we'll be found (Turn around) I know we're lost but soon we'll be found (I know we're lost but soon we'll be found)
I remember playing this song over and over, depressed beyond measure in a toxic and abusive relationship, always begging him to not fight with me. 3 years later, I am in a healthy stable relationship with a beautiful one year old baby girl. life is amazing hey, this song got me through a lot
I really miss sias's old songs so much....i mean her present songs are pure art but the older songs hit different....i really wish she would bring her old style back
On Sia's RU-vid page this was posted in 2008, which was the same year I started learning American Sign Language in college. My friend, who had also studied ASL, sent me this video since she knew I was learning. I remember I was hooked on this song. This song captivated my interest and made me want to learn ASL even more. Four years later, I graduated with my degree in American Sign Language interpreting. In May 2022, I will have been working as a professional interpreter for 10 years.
Yes. Check out Sia performance on David Letterman singing this song. It's so much better than the recorded version, in my opinion. Her vocals are just perfect. ❤
It's just so special. She has s story. A story of being naturally different.. It seems it's hard for people to adapt and accept differences. Her uniqueness wasn't accepted before the chart topping Chandilier. Moreover people don't understand the deeper grievance her soul has faced. I can just connect to Sia so much. These songs and this album in itself shows her struggle with life as being unique gave her those bad feelings of being neglected. Now I dearly miss her. I miss this Sia, the true Sia.
People in general have a huge fear of the truths of life!!! we put it away and away and away, but too much of us get it changed til the end of the life, and dont stop to run away from itself. pity but reality
I saw her live in Vancouver, BC in 2008. She was truly beautiful, I think because she can communicate all the pain she's experienced. And that is what speaks to people. I also miss and love this Sia, and hate that she's learned to hate fame and the trend seekers.
Sahand "pop star garbage" The Greatest music video brought me to tears with the amount of emotion erupting from not only the dancers but the song all together, her song Chandelier is also just as moving. You know just because something is in the 'pop' genre and becomes popular doesn't strip it's value, right?
the new sia´s videos talking about the "mk ultra" and the "monarch control" techniques, it is all about pedophile practice of the elite - sorry for my bad english
the more you listen to it, the more it makes you want to listen to it again. a perfect song with a perfect singer and perfect lyrics 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
@@peachtreewa5464 I was and still am into the Rock like Van Halen, Rush etc, from the 70`s and 80`s but I discovered Sia about 2 year ago she brings tears to my eye`s, with her Voice and soul in all here music!
One comment I loved, when She sang it on Letterman show: "My daughter is deaf....this is Brit sign language, she enjoyed it a lot, with her hands on the speakers, she felt the connection. thanks!. Peace!"

It's been a decade since sia's art are true and natural. She is been an great artist in herself from the very first beginning. And nowadays she still amaze us with her iconic styles .🥰 Sia is just amazing!!❤
I love you even more everytime I see you. Your so beautiful and your voice is like heaven. Now now sign language. My heart is yours when ever you want it. I hope I find your twin somewhere hiding waiting for a rebuilt man like me. All my Love Sia, your road was hard but like me you came back with power. Love you and all you do.
And she sounds like a combination of everyone! Everytime I listen to a Sia song, I hear different and amazing influences, but it's still Sia. She's like a perfect combination of everyone who came before her
I had this kind of "revelation" when I've discovered Sia during the pandemic, I was going out on a ride in my car just to hear music that made me feel good, and here I am almost 2 years later, and not only this song, but Sia's vibe and art are still something that make me vibrate and inspire, (as a musician) thank you
Anxiety is a bitch. I think a fan got into her dressing room or somewhere private a few years ago. It must be difficult, wanting to share your music and talent but be paralyzed by anxiety. I was lucky enough to see her live in Adelaide a few years ago, absolutely incredible.
No doubt in my mind that this is one of the most amazing and beautiful songs ever made... I first heard it live at her concert in Toronto and I was immediately hooked.
Still feel massively privileged to have been able to see Sia live around this era. By far the best live voice I've ever and will ever hear and with such meaningful lyrics
@@Mc-xm1to she wrote and directed a super ableist movie, with the story revolves around an autistic character (not played by an autistic person) in a super disrespect way. Also she "studied" it with autism speaks, with compared non-speaking autistic people to inanimate objects. Theres whole videos on it, I reccomend the watch for better understanding.
My parents used to kick off with me for always being drunk, I didn’t know how to tell them I was severely depressed. This song found us common ground ❤
So this was her face, we never knew that, we used to believe that Sia’s face was a mystery, but we just didn’t expect she was going to be this beautiful woman, amazing artist.
She’s been this beautiful woman since her first album, it was only the realisation that fame can cause heartache and pain mainly through social media that made her revaluate and hide her appearance from the public, she is a stunning woman and a stunning artist 👍
Me too. 'cause we don't find sign language being used in a music vid. She's very creative & lovely with such a powerful voice. Love her!! this song reminds me of my uncle & his wife whom both are deaf & cannot speak as well :( They struggle a lot to communicate with people, only I,my mum & my other uncle's wife can speak sign language well
Sia is genius! She makes me laugh, smile and cry. She makes me happy and sad at all of the right times. She breaks me down and then gives me strength. All with her awesome artistry. Sia is genius.
I love listening to Sia's songs on Sunday mornings. I felt myself resting without thinking about work and other things around me, especially "'soon to be found'' and ''Sunday'' songs. I love you Sia I hope to be at your concerts one day. Your songs like nostalgia for me there were many memories of my good life and as a student connected with this songs. thank you
I remember watching this video back in 2009 when it only 300,000 views. I knew it was just a matter of time before my girl SIA made her mark. The song DESTINY she did with group ZERO 7 is now up in the millions for views. I was listening to SIA WAYYYYYYY before she became mainstream. This song was what sealed the deal for me with her. LOVE YOU SIA!!!
yaaaaaaas I remember my mom making a mix tape when I was maybe 8 years old and listening to this song and others songs from her old band on the way to dance class. She is just amazing and I already thought she was pretty famous but then I looked at how many views and my mouth was just a agape. I thought she really should of had more views and more fans. Sia has come a long way since then and im so happy for her. LOVE YOU SIA
To anyone who thinks this woman is ugly. Please go somewhere and be small. This woman is absolutely gorgeous. But it’s all about her art not her looks. She’s done something new artist has ever done visually and audibly. I can’t think of one other star who has a voice as good of hers.
She’s got the exact body type I’d like to have when I’m healthy and get rid of my ED demons. 😩 She’s perfection inside and out. The dark and light. Her music makes me hold on just one more night. She’s magic. ✨
It's easily my most favorite music video of all. I've watched it dozens of times. The meaning -- how some arguments cannot be resolved by talking, how sleep 'resets' our lives, -- the gorgeous visuals that fully utilize the expressive depth of human hands, and to boot, one of the most fantastic vocals in current music. And all people talk about is her face... when all that matters -- all she *wants* to matter -- is her *art*. This is just so very sad.
you can't lie while sleeping, its the end of the discussion. tomorrow we talk with a clean head. that's the song's message, tomorrow we will be free from whatever reason we are angry today, and we are going to find each other again. By the rest of the song, we can interpret this not like a single fight in the relationship, but a crisis, that she believes can be overcome with time and patience. but I can be wrong, English is not my first language. @@j1nxmamas
decimus81 come on, for youtube standarts this was an exceptionally nice correction. Alix Cutter i think its good when we can learn from eachother in acivilised manner :).
jonas samuel don't mean to be rude, but in your reply to Alix, you should've written "it's", "each other" and "a civilised". hahaha I'm just trolling XD; I fully agree with you. Alix Cutter that was a helpful and constructive correction. It wasn't a silly thing (like my mock correction to jonas here), it was meaningful :)
