I really don't how, but you're really missing everything incredible from her. This is the Mix, but she wrote the song stripped down with just a piano and vocals. That's how she performs it live and it's moving as F!!! Live at All Access 2016 is a perfect example of a really beautiful vocal performance of the song the way it was meant. Oh I love this song! I couldn't understand it either at first but I didn't care. I always felt something special listening to it... it gave me so much strength back in the days. I always saw this lil guy as someone who has been bullied or something and he finally had enough. He blew up when bullies kicked him maybe, and now he's the guilty one because nobody cares about that he was going through hell. He's alone with all that. Police/army chasing him is a bit wired but for me it's like autor trying to show us that we're stronger than we think and we can easily win battles that seems impossible to win, no matter if your demon is some other kid in school or armed soldier... we are unbreakable, we're Titanium! Loved the reaction! P.S. "Typ" is "dude" in polish so it's averagedude, or just Karol 🙂

The reason why the cops are after him is probably because the boy used the shockwave powers at the school, apparently its because he was bullied and being beaten up before he has no choice but to defend himself. For good or bad reasons, that made everyone see him as dangerous, that's why the teacher called the cops on him.

Please don't let this one stop you from doing more Sia. You will absolutely love elastic heart. The visuals are so powerful in the video and really tell the story much better than this video does in my opinion.

However that fame was destabilisng for her and she relapsed. She dealt with serious mental and physical health problems at that time, so she made the decision to retreat from the spotlight. She didn't want to be an artist anymore. That's also why she hides her face behind wigs and masks today and never appears in her own music videos. But she kept to writing for other artists. This song was originally intended for someone else too (including Katy Perry). Sia wrote the whole thing, recorded a demo and David Guetta added the "trappy" beat to it. However, upon hearing Sia's demo, people like Katy declined the offer to sing it and encouraged Guetta to keep Sia's vocals on it. So he released this version wirhout Sia's consent. I believe this is also why Sia had no creative power when it cokes to this video, which is why it's a lit different from her other videos that she directed herself. This is similar to some of her other songs in the sense that it has heavy production on it that makes it seem like a haply dance skngs wher as there's actually a deeper underlying message. This sing is actually about fighting, about resistance and if you listej to Sia's solo live versions you'll see that the song isn't as optimistic at all. She really sings her heart out there and the long notes sound more like screams, cries for help than these party like yells in this version. I really suggest you to listen to one of them (you don't need to do a seperate video for it, but you could) There's a couple of them on RU-vid. Some of them are also accompanied by the dancers from her tour, so there you can see a whole different concept behind the song, that is much more authentic to Sia. There is also an acoustic studio version called Megans V3rsion, however, it doesn't have a music video. Loved the reaction anyways and i hope to see more sia stuff in the future. My Interpretation is that the boy has powers of some kind and he was the one that did the damage to the School and his Teacher was scared of him and rang the Police, if you watch the video again when the Police was at his front door and he was trying to get out the back but it was locked but they keys just came to him when he pointed at them and there were Toys spinning around on the ceiling above, and at the end of the video he crawled up into a ball and a flash of light came flying out of him and he knocked the Police flying, so I think maybe he’s a Mutant and nothing will hurt him, but that’s just my Interpretation, but every one has different Interpretations of any video that’s the love of it, you can take it anyway you’d like and as a Fellow Aussie Sia is Amazing and is showing the World just what Australian Musicians are made of 🇦🇺🇦🇺👏👏👏

Okay my reaction was just like yours. Hard to follow at times but everyone will have different versions., Sia's voice is fantastic.

If you can find a video from her Nostalgia for the present tour, this song is one she performs and it is at a slower tempo, so the lyrics are easier to understand.

Little bit of trivia: When this was released it became popular quickly, then a school shooting (Sandy Hook) happened and every station blacklisted it for quite some time.

This was quite like a dance / party track aside from some of the meaningful lyrics. Especially since it’s also David Guetta. I don’t assume the music video has much reasoning or intense thought behind it, it just seems like it was meant to be cool and fun almost like a mini movie clip.

When watching Sia music videos, don't pay too much attention to the visuals, the videos are usually quite abstract in concept and don't really aid in understanding the song itself, rather once you understand the song it helps put the video into a context to make sense, using the video to try to interpret the song's meaning won't work well for most Sia songs.

It's like he had a tantrum and suddenly exhibited telekinetic powers and tore up the school. Used his powers to distract the cops and left to find somewhere to belong. Think X-Men.

in my opinion i think the song is like remember when the school was messed up what i think is that the kid was being bullied and he took out all his anger out but then his power came out and that's why the teacher was scared of him and that he is running from the army and the cops because they see him as a threat because of his power and thinking of all of that. Makes the song more interesting so i think thats what the video is about and when she says you shoot me down but i wont fall i think for the boy it means that the cops will try to get him but with the power he will always get away like the end he got away because he used his power like when she says "you shoot me down but i won't fall i am titanium" in the song about the boy that means "the cops will always try to get me but i will always get away because of my power" so watch the song while thinking of this coment and see if you agree about that being the consept of the song and that you shoot me down but i won't fall i am titanium is about the boy with these lyricas "the4 cops will always try to get me but i will always get away because of my power tell me if you agree with me on that and please read this coment in your head while watching the Official Video of Titanium

Sia has a weird accent, so she prounounces words differently - hence it makes it harder to catch the lyrics. :)
