Book parts of the libraries are so important. My family is old school and did not approve of/ couldn't afford screens for kids, but i could read novels all day. I was so misunderstood and lonely, books were all i had. Also my parents approved of me going to the library, so i went to get out of the house and away from them. Libraries were my refuge. 🥺 This is a rare instance Bob is completely wrong lmao
@@ecko3783 both bob and monet wrong all the time that's the beauty of it, do you watch the show tamar? bob just be tricking yall into thinking she's right cause of her confidence but she is truly wrong A LOT
the original Bob hates libraries clip made it into the best of Bob 2021 compilation and the title card when it comes on is that meme of that little girl looking over her shoulder while the house is on fire, you know the one 💀💀, just it's Bob's face with the biggest smile and it's a library on fire instead
monet talking about 'no letting go' by wayne wonder took me back-- it was definitely a new york thing and they would always play it at our middle school dances!!

Yessss again Monet!!! I saw Brandy live in 2017 and I was SOBBING, baby those live vocals are something serious. I’m gagging that so many of the newer generation don’t know who she is
Ok, true tea ☕️,as a kid I had no escape from my home life and my reality except in a 📚 library. I would look at the stacks of books and see possibilities, not just to escape but, to be lifted out of ignorance. And that it’s the point of a library, to democratize knowledge, it makes books available to every man and woman regardless of class or race. As quickly as you can download a book it can be lost or erased, real books are permanent, many old books lost to history have been found and reissued like the famous case of the one by Madam C.J. Walker. As someone who benefited from a library and held those books in my hand, books and libraries are important. A librarian was the first adult to show an interest in what I might like and opened up a whole world of books to me. Librarians love books and love to spread the love of books and knowledge as well as are fierce defenders of freedom of speech. I’m sorry Bob, your take is funny but, wrong. These things weren’t just given to us they are an ongoing struggle, where librarians defy what they believe to be unjust or wrong. This is a bad stance and encourages others to say things like that without knowing the reason for it history of libraries. Also, I hate reading from a kindle, it’s hard on my eyes and I don’t want to own every book I read.
I spent my teens years in a small country town & our local library & my school library were my favourite places. I was safe there, thanks to the amazing staff and I found so much of myself & the things that would get me through life in those libraries.
I so agree with bob. Every time I listen to MC with my bf I tell him I am so grateful to have been alive during her prime and to appreciate it as an adult. Mariah really is special; no matter how many memes you make about her current vocal abilities, you actually have to KNOW that the way Mariah SANG for sold out world tours destroys your vocal chords. Mariah DID THAT for her fans, observers and STANS. Mariah LIVED and accomplished her parent’s dreams. Mariah DID THAT and you COULD NEVER.
Bob, there's a HUGE West Indian community in Atlanta. We have Caribbean carnival every memorial day weekend with multiple carnivals, concerts and events throughout GA. Also Lithonia, Atlanta, Stone Mountain and Decatur specifically have a large Caribbean populous. And we definately have tons of Caribbean restaurants, small businesses, lounges, bakeries, and nightclubs both ITP and OTP. I'm from the Virgin Islands and have lived in Atlanta since 1997 and I've experienced this since I arrived here.
libraries do rent out things like tablets you can rent go pros and even sewing matchines! dont you think its better to have one place with all the books that dont need to have them like all over the world in millions of copies that seems more green. plus i cant afford to buy books all the time
Not everyone can afford various types of entertainment. For those with imagination and low funds, libraries provide books, videos, free movie screenings, storytelling, etc. There are art showings and more. A great institution for all.
The Patreon levels are comically great on another level. My support is about to start soon and I can't decide between becoming a "Cool Aunt" or a "Stepdad". Love you people and all of your support groups💜💙💜
Monet's sweatshirt is amazing. Sun is Shining is my all time fave Bob Marley song. Always takes me to the beach in my mind and calms me down when anxious.
Monet I’m from Charlotte NC & that song you were singing at 2:18 “No letting Go” by Wayne Wonder was such a hit in the south also. I was shocked when Bob said he didn’t know it.
I love library books because I can’t afford to be buying every book I want to read. And then where would I even store it my house is so small lol. It seems outdated but it’s awesome for broke book worms and the environment :)
i just wanna say this is my favorite episode of all time like it makes me so happy i listen to it constantly and i don't even like superheroes!!!! its just so fun listening to them speak about something they both like and know a lot about like even the part about the singers is so great bc u just know theyre passionate about it, i love it
the part where Bob is talking about the faceless, voiceless reps on zoom at a shoot for a commercial-- VERY Severance. thank you again for telling us about. :)
I need to learn to just go to the Patreon in order to watch these videos. I get so mad when they turn the video off LOL even though I know I have a Patreon subscription😂😂
I will die on this hill: Halle Berry's Catwoman was not a bad movie. It is a camp masterpiece and was not appreciated at the time was released. I strongly urge ppl to rewatch. Bad CGI aside (because that part was unacceptable) I feel like everyone leaned into the dramatic, over the top, theatrical feel of the movie. Unfortunately, at the time, an emphasis on darker, gritty comic book movies was hot, giving critics a reason to go way too hard on the movie. Lol 😂, i can't be the only one.
Hear me out. J lawrence's mistique wasnt supposed to be confident and hot. Prof x had been pretty much emotionally abusing her for years, it took decades for her confidence to come back. He made her feel ashamed of her blue form, controlled her mind, and made her feel never good enough even in skintone form.
The Rock has been about that Business from Day 1. First movie Be Cool - 5 million His first leading role he 5.5 million Walking Tall - 15 million in 2018 he broke the record for the most money a person has made for acting in history. He could legit become a billionaire from being in movies.
Monet I respectfully disagree with the opinion that you can’t find music in death metal and metal in general. The musicality in those genres is found in the rhythms and in the time signatures, it’s very experimental in terms of how the rhythms and meters. And there are different vocalist techniques and overtones that are very difficult to accomplish. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea nor does it have to be, but it definitely deserves respect from a technical and musical standpoint.
Technically, Emma Frost isn't omega-level. But that's not to say she's not a powerful mutant, because she is, one of the strongest telepaths out there in fact. So yeah, Monet shouldn't have dismissed her so easily!
@@joelpolanco6776 Yup, she's on par with Xavier! And the thing is, even Xavier isn't omega-level. The only omega-level mutant telepaths are Jean Grey and Kid Omega. And yet Emma and Xavier are considered omega *class* telepaths though... comics, y'know!
