when they heard the sticker demo i think (and the members also said this before) that since the song is vocally hard and the beat pretty minimal (aside from that flute) they were worried if it would be difficult to sing...ofc some of them could have disliked it but i think 127 in particular are used to doing challenging and different tracks by now so yeah

No, not all of the fandom felt that way about Sticker, many of us love her

Based on what was said by the members, they were mainly worried because Sticker is a song that's (vocally) hard and challenging (the high notes and runs by Yoo Young Jin in the demo are certainly a little - read: VERY - intimidating), so I can understand that pulling it off well is a main concern. Additionally, while NCT's songs are always a bit different, Sticker was certainly a bigger step away from your typical (kpop) song so I'm sure they were worried about how it would be received as well.
