Slipknot's new DVD (sic)nesses in HD, an epic concert at Download festival, in England. Just fucking amazing, and you have it here to watch it from the beggining to the end. Enjoy it and stay sic!
It's absolutely heartbreaking, and it's even sadder knowing that when Paul passed away, Slipknot went from being a bunch of friends making music together, to Corey + Clown and the Hired Musicians, Paul was probably the glue that kept them all together, and I know for sure that Joey and Chris would still be in the band if Paul was still with us.
I was there, and it's def the best I have ever seen Slipknot play!!! That entire weekend was amazing!!! Although the Sunday line-up kinda let it down, but after Faith No More & Slipknot, I was partied out anyway lol! For some strange reason, I knew I'd never see Slipknot play that well again, I just didn't realize it would be because Paul Gray would die... 2010 was a very sad year of metal-Between Dio, Paul Gray & Jimmy Sullivan (The Rev), we'd lost a lot of talented musicians... RIP Paul Gray
@@KalaschniKlown sad this line up of Slipknot is never returning. I got to see them twice including this show. It was never the same without Paul, Joey & Chris.
@@soundgarden6478 While I wasn't at this specific show since I'm in the U.S., I saw them on tour in 2009 and they were fantastic. It was my first metal show as a teen and it's still one of the best memories for me. I saw them a second time when they were doing tribute shows for Paul, Joey and Chris still with them. Obviously, that show was very different. Haven't seen them live since then. No disrespect to the newer guys, but Slipknot doesn't feel like Slipknot to me without the original guys.
Shawn jumping at 1:04 is just hhngh amazing. Fun fact, when they played in sweden globen- Shawn/clown actually came on my row/seats and stomped on my 4$ waterbottle and i touched his back. Shawn you owe me 4$😭
They just work so well here, like clown swapping percussion tables and chris communicating with other band members (and chris being a goof playing with pauls guitar neck) its a shame that what happened happened, id kill to see the original members all together again
Yeah we were near the front on the left hand side of the stage but as the show went on the crowd got insane haha. Spit it out was good aswell when everyone sat on the floor, it was a good show and great atmosphere
To me this is right before disaster struck for the band! They were all on fire and alive! They changed affer paul died and i dont blame them one single bit. If one person of a 9 piece band dies it takes so much
It was through this concert that I learned about Slipknot. And this is my favorite song. RIP Paul RIP Joey Goodbye Chris Goodbye Craig Thank you Slipknot for brightening up my life.
@@Sleepydill you get used to it hahah. It isnt that bad in generall to be fair. Only when you play crazy stuff like TOOL or Primus you use that technique. You usually use 2 of your fingers for super fast basslines and licks but you can also always use a pick
