my 4.0 doesn't seem to be pumping out water fast enough from the sump. Not sure what is wrong. It was fine. I took it apart and cleaned everything. I noticed the end of the impeller, the white rod that connects into the motor, came off the impeller. I can connect it back into the hole and it stays there. Not sure if it needs to be fastened or if it's just one white rod that makes up the impeller but mine is broken off. Not sure if it's an issue since it all goes back in via the magnetic connector. hope this makes sense.
The impeller shaft is ceramic and white. It is pressed in during production. It does not. Come out in the 4.0. If it is out you need a new impeller. It will not work properly. I’ve done all of this, the motor turns and is hot when I leave plugged in submerged in water but still no luck. How do you clean rubber stopper at motor?
