It was actually a sick combo. The ZSS used the weak knockback storage of plasma whip to set up into down smash, and was actually really smart and probably a true combo.

It’s an objectively better fighting game, first off, and second off, every single character all the way through the low tiers feel better to play than the characters in ultimate. It’s quality over quantity. The whole “more characters” argument never made sense to me. And you can’t argue that the physics in ultimate aren’t way, way worse. Go look up a melee combo video and the things you will see are a thousand times cooler. These combos would be considered normal in melee

I’d really like to know where you guys are getting this 10 number from and what you even mean by “viable”. These are the kids who look up tier lists to see who to play but they can’t even DI. Tiers lists do not matter until you’re at the absolute highest levels of play, theoretically perfect levels of play. You can take a low tier and win your locals and even national tournaments by putting in the work. “Viable” is such a bad word to use. You’re saying you can’t win with over half the cast and that’s an absurd notion, you’re misunderstanding tier lists
