@@JoexLegacy You realise that there is alot of generic trash music out there, little sister? You don't? Maybe your vision or hearing is blurred or trashed. 🤡
Unlike many others commenting on here, this is the first time I have heard this mix. Like many other commenting, I am aged 43 and I was raised on both of these legends Phil Colins and the late great King Michael Jackson music. Just hearing MJ's voice made me cry. This is an EPIC mix, I hope Phil Collins and the MJ Estate contact you as this remix deserves all the flowers in the world. Thank you for this joy.
Best mashup for me is still 'Stayin' Alive in the Wall'; Bee Gees/Pink Floyd mix, utterly seamless! I appreciate this Sickick effort here though the DJ's autotuned vocal portion derogates from its appeal to my ear....otherwise, splendid.
"In The Air Of The Night" was my dad's favorite song of all time. We played it in his memory when he passed away at the age of 56 from a massive heart attack. Every year on his birthday or on the date he passed, the song would somehow find its way to one of us kids, whether through the radio or online. On the anniversary of my dad's passing, a friend sent me this track, unaware that it was that significant day. I was overjoyed that Dad once again reached out to one of his seven kids through music. Although it was a bittersweet day, this mix filled me with happiness and gratitude for the artist's mastery of mixing. I love and miss you so much, Dad. This mix is Heavenly approved by my Dad Dennis Carney Sr, in your loving memory, Dad. 🌤
This post is touching me as a dad. i am sure your passed father would be touched, too! a good way to honor him. music connects. still with our passed loved ones, too.
I was sitting outside a gas station when a guy in a car played this as he was leaving the gas station. It caught my attention and I immediately typed into RU-vid “Michael Jackson Phil Collins Mashup” and now this is my favorite thing this week. Oh how I wish I could tell that driver that he introduced me to this and I love it. Thank you, stranger.
I'm an old DJ that's mixed on vinyl, compact discs, and MP3. I've dabbled in PC software remixing. What this guy does is genuinely amazing. I presume there's a set-up of samples beforehand, but this guy's skill to orchestrate the entire mix live is an art form in itself, and should not be mixed with standard DJ practices. Your skill is both acknowledged and admired Sickick.!
If you think this video is "live", think again, but the samples are cool and considered, the mix / song / project produced well, and brings back some great memories. Can't knock the end product. Would REALLY have loved some kind of cool / cold / big ending as opposed to the fadeout (which also gives away the fact that the actual video seen here is not "live".
Im.46 and just accidentally came across Sickick. His music makes me feel like I'm 20 and at the clubs again. His music is powerful medicine! Life has been hard and I made mad choices since I was that young. My Gosh though, this music takes me back to a better place. Thank you Sickick.
Lol I'm the same age, came across him by accident to. He really does make feel like I'm 20. I could just imagine listening to one of his mixes at a club.
You just brought multiple generations together like it was a regular Sunday activity bruh. Well done. Can't wait to hear more of your work. This was Fire 🔥
This Phil Collins/Michael Jackson mashup left me AWESTRUCK when I first stumbled upon it on an Instagram post. At 66 years old, it brings back memories. Such an AWESOME remix I've ever heard! I added to my playlist. I'm back to practicing pop dancing. Thank you Sickick! Another fan forever.
Totally agree the drop with Phil Collins mix is epic , also love watching him sing mix and dj too can feel the vibe off him he could totally hold a crowd also the mask is a big yes !! Love you sikick !!❤
Phil Collins "In the Air Tonight" released in 1981. Michael Jackson "Remember the Time" released 1991. This remix, released in 2021. Bring it together by a talented DJ and you get this beautiful mix.
This mix is absolutely genius, it needs to be released on an album or streaming service. I would love to purchase this as soon as it is available. This is the mix that got me to find out about Sickick!!
I think what I love about Sickick is that all his beats sound like mad science. You know, most DJs just sample two songs that sound similar and then mix them, maybe add a drop or some synth and let it go. He ACTUALLY mixes. He cuts and splices pieces together, mixes them with his own vocals and creates a unique experience,. This is true DJing. It's almost like alchemy, taking existing ingredients to create something entirely new.
That’s everything I ask for in a good mashup. Really weaving together elements of both songs. The interplay between the lyrics in call and response is so well done.
DJs used to do this in clubs with two records all the time, I remember premier doing it with two copies of warning and he just made an entire new tune cutting them up it was sick
So completely and utterly true. That's why I absolutely love this one dude named ItsMetroGnome. He hasn't been active for a long, long time. But his remixes are legendary
True dj’s can spot music that matches like crazy. It’s. Specially with newer technology. It’s become way easier. All we had a turntables back in the day
"In the Air Tonight" was my lullaby as a baby and music was always a special bond between my dad and me. He passed away in 2020 but I'm sure he would have loved this remix. I miss you ❤
Thank you for releasing this. Since I first heard your snippet over a week ago I fell in love. This kicks my 49 year old heart back to life. Thank you for bridging the gap and combing this for a new generation to experience. Bravo Sickick! I'm a fan.
I can't express how amazing this creation makes me feel. Going through the issues in my life; for 4 minutes and 21 seconds I find calm and peace, and I can't thank you enough.
Man for real! I've been having shit health for the past 11 months and whenever I listen to this song it brings me pure happiness. Brings me out of any funk I'm in mentally!
They will be if he's using this commercially. Hope he's paid his licensing fees and can take this to the market for people to buy and download. Catchy mix
It never occured to me that Phil Collins and MJ being remixed like this would sound so good. I gotta give props to the creativity in the songs chosen especially. Remember the Time was one of my favorite MJ songs and it just fits as a backing to this so well.
HAD to buy this to add to my playlist!! Must have listened to it at least 30 times today - can’t get enough! Sickick - you’ve made this 56 year old very happy! Shared with all my friends 👌🏼
Im an old fart who grew up in the 80's and im a lover of all music except depressing country . When my wife played this song for me i can't explain how it moved me ! You took 2 awesome songs and blended them together so well that it sounds like Michael and Phil are singing in the studio together sharing the same mic ! The beat is incredible and your singing blended in so smooth that it sounds like it was originally written like this . This song is now my ringtone and my text alert lol . Ive listened to music i like millions of times over and over and never get tired of them and this is one of those ! You are so very wonderfully talented ! I wish you the best of luck with your career but you don't need it , your skill blows othes away ! I wonder, do you take suggestions ?
This is awesome! I'm a huge MJ fan, I absolutely love this mix with your voice on it as well! Keep doing your thing! This is amazing!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Very few artists can seemlessly blend two fantastic songs together while honoring the greatness of each of them. With every track I hear, I become more and more of a fan! 🤘🤘🤘
I'm sure this is going to be awesome as always discovering his music is like I've find a secret door in my house and I've discovered a fantastic word where everything is beautiful and there is only happiness
@@sabinal7307 no I'm not talking about Lockeandkey I'm talking about a peaceful place where you forget all your problems that's how i feel when I listen to his music
My daughter was born the same day as Michael Jackson. The phill Collin’s song was my jam as kid at the same age of 4.5. Wow this is amazing work I will show this to her tomorrow and see her reaction.
This is one of your most beautiful Sickick mixes. Your voice is beautiful, too…so damn smooth! This song needs more likes. You are so damn talented! Daaaang! Thank you for the mix and music. MJ would be so happy listening to it!
I like all his mixes. But his voice was more effects. I would like to liisten to him with mic with echo and effects and if the voice quality was still there and good that's the time I will say he got good voice too
Welcome to the Sickick Army!! This man is the shittt!!! I just love him!! Found him a while ago & life got better the instant I heard his beats!! Now I need my daily dose of Sickick in my life or else I just don’t feel right!! Lol
I only picked up on your mash today. You made my day, week with this great mix. Can’t wait till it’s out here so I can enjoy the complete work. Respect from a guy who is old enough to remeber the official releases 😉
Michael Jackson is an incredible artist, his voice and music can go with anything, this is an amazing remix, it gives me chills, its so vibey, and its breath taking.
As a 2000 year old man who grew up listening to the sounds of Roman swords clashing with shields I can tell you that this remix is a treat to the ears.
You were my top artist on Spotify and I didn't even discover you until like 3 months ago. The mixes you create are absolutely out of this world. This one is one of my favorites, and is currently on repeat. Some of my other favorites...sadly don't have full versions, but I listen anyway! I would love to know how you flow, when inspo hits and you just get these crazy beats and mashups in your head. Keep doing what you're doing, a fan for life!
Saw you on Tiktok and was like, "damn, I need to hear the full length mix." Glad I found you over here. Late 50s guy so I remember these songs AFTER high school, when they were new. Masterpiece of mixing. Looking forward to hearing more.
This is such a awesome track. This seriously needs to be on the radio. Since hearing this track I’ve gone out to listen to the rest made 😍. Omg I love it all.
