Sid's narration at the begging of the film will always be my favorite. "Causes of insomnia: regret, self-blame, overthinking, depression, loneliness.... and her. No, this is not a love story; hindi naman lahat ng may 'I love you' eh love story na. Hindi ko nga alam kung saan nagsimula eh, ano 'yung gitna, paano natapos. Let's just say bits & and pieces of her. Memories. Dreams. You know, the kind of thing you want to forget. Basta, kung paano n'ya ako sinaktan." DMN.

You really feel the emotions in this movie. The characters, acting, the ambiance, visuals and music were all spot on! My heart sank near the end, but I’m glad it was a peaceful conclusion.

Sid might have felt betrayed when Aya failed to show up but when he found the ring, i guess he fully understood Aya. He might have felt better knowing all this time Aya never unloved him. I think he knows that Aya wasn't ready yet due to Aya's commitment to her family. Love the ending, they were able to find each other, again - but this time, both are at peace.

I understand Aya's struggle. Ang dami niyang kailangan mahalin, ang dami niyang kailangan supportahan and with Sid's sudden appearance, once Aya decided to commit with him, mas lalong hihirap sa part niya. Si Sid na mismo ang nagsabi na nabuhay si Aya para sa iba. Naiintindihan niya 'yon. Si Sid, ang sabi niya, siya ay nabuhay para sa wala but dumating si Aya. But then again, hindi pa p'wede si Aya. Right love at the wrong time. Sabi ni Sid na p'wede daw malaman kung mananalo ang isang tao sa isang sugulan pero ang sabi niya kay Aya ay player siya, ibig sabihin magaling siya- alam ni Aya na hindi siya p'wede sumugal kasi once na sumugal siya there's a big possibility na Sid will resent her in the future kasi walang time si Aya para mahalin siya lalo na si Sid na wala naman problema. His only quest was to find someone to grow old with. Kay Aya ang dami kasi, eh. 'Yung ring na pinasuot ni Sid kay Aya na dapat sa fiancé niya, hindi binenta ni Aya kahit na kailangan niya ng pera. Ibig sabihin mahal niya pa si Sid. Kaya nung magp-propose si Sid at hindi sumulpot si Aya, nilabas niya singsing and as if he realized that it's not the right time. Si Aya, I was confused bakit siya nakangiti kahit siya 'yung hindi sumulpot nung time na may agreement sila. Hindi siya mukhang guilty at all. I was thinking if it was because gano'n personality niya na parang dinadaan na lang sa ngiti and maybe she thought na "if he's really the one, he'll wait and come back" or "i don't want to complicate things more and it's better that it stays this way". Kaso walang interpretation kung bakit siya nakangiti, eh. But one thing's sure, she was contented at that time. 'Yung ending, it seemed like na fix na ni Aya problema niya and they're both ready to commit with each other. And that's why even though Sid felt betrayed nung hindi sumulpot si Aya, 'yung ending, sila pa rin. And ang symbolic ng white t-shirt para sa akin. Pareho silang naka white. I interpret it as pareho silang at peace na.

Open ending 'yung kwento kasi nagkita ulit sila, hindi alam kung sa pagkakataon na 'yon sabay na silang susugal. Si Aya ang black swan ni Sid kasi noong nagkakakilala sila may mga pangyyari sa hindi niya inaasahang mangyari and it left an impact to his life. Nabanggit niya na binabantayan niya 'yung mga mahahalagang bagay na nangyayari sa kanya and doon siya tumataya, for once natutuhan niyang magmahal genuinely kahit hindi niya 'to ma admit kay Aya dahil he's battling with his own fears. Siguro kaya not a love story kasi hindi 'to 'yung typical na kwento, may mga taong pwede nating mahalin pero hindi pwedeng makasama, iba sila ng paths na tinahak dahil hindi pa 'yon ang perfect timing for the both of them. At least in the end both of them looks happy. Anyway galing ng gumawa nito and ang galing nila! 2nd time of watching this salamat po sa pag upload!❤️❤️

"I did not deserve her, but still I had her". Lesson: there is one special person who can change how you view life. so if u find that person, value him/her. Great movie!! Mula simula hanggang huli iba yung kurot sa puso 😭😭😭

This is my second time watching this movie. Umiyak ulit ako. One of the best Viva films out there, not your typical boy girl na na-inlove then pinakita ang happy ending. Maiintindihan mo 'yung pinanggagalingan ng characters. Aya and Sid met each other while they're both struggling. Even though they found comfort during the times na magkasama sila, they know something's wrong. Aya has a lot on her plate, and kahit mahal niya si Sid, alam niya kung ano ang dapat niyang unahin. Sid on the other hand, needs to fix his issues din, he has a gf, sa work niya marami siyang nakakaaway, kaya hindi talaga uubra that time. For me, this is a love story. They love each other, sayang lang, hindi nila nasabi ang 'I Love You' nang harapan. Nag ILY si Aya after may nangyari sa kanila pero tulog si Sid. Tapos si Sid sinabi 'yun while natutulog si Aya sa balikat niya nu'ng nasa train sila. 🥺

My favorite Pinoy film. Grabe yung chemistry nila Dong and Anne dito and I love how unique the plot was. Hindi yung typical Pinoy film ang ending and nangyayari talaga sya in real life. And gusto ko yung open ending, it’s up to you on how you would interpret it. It could mean na nagmeet sila ulit and they tried again the second time, pwede ring they just met to catch up and nothing more.

Hindi naging sila but you know they are at peace. That's true love hindi naman lagi kelangan maging kayo ng taong mahal mo. It reminds me of Paulo Coelho's quote from the book Brida, this became my motto in love. "People give flowers as present because flowers contain true meaning of love. Anyone who tries to posses a flower will have to watch its beauty fading. But if you simply look at a flower in the field, you'll keep it forever. That is what the forest taught me. That you will never be mine, and that is why i will never lose you. " Anne's character reminds me of myself.

it's a refreshing kind of lovestory. Both are strong characters! Anne and Dingdong 2 thumbs up!

Always favorite this movie. I hope Ding Dong Dantes & Anne Curtis will team up again for another movie. I can't get enough of their chemistry. I love the movie Sid & Aya: Not A Love Story 💕

My black-swan turns out to be this one girl. Hit me! I’d watch this movie along time ago and when the youtube start to produce it i watched it again many times, till now. the feelings, the empathy, the emotions are still the same. I felt like I’m in the movie who played each other character whenever i watched it, you can really compare yourself to each other. I like Anne since then but i’d been a fan of her & Dingdong after this movie. It’s still marked and still one of my fave movie! ✨

Ganon talaga, may mga taong magiging part ng buhay natin. Darating, aalis, babalik, aalis ulit tapos may darating ulit. It's not a love story but a life story. Both romance alongside with friendship showed on this movie. Kudos to the whole team for making this realistic piece. 👌

Finally a movie with no happy ending but a good ending.

I remember watching it in the cinema and then now it was suggested by RU-vid. I re-watched it again because I still remember how I felt watching it 4 years ago, and now after doing so, I still had the same feelings as then! I really like how the story goes, especially the soundtracks! I used to download these songs after watching it and now it feels good to hear the songs again. I'll have LSS once more with these tracks!

I watched this in the cinema. I found this video suggested. So i rewatched it. SAME FEELS. SAME. Aside from the story, the Cinematography and soundtracks are lit. Feels so good to watch this on Friday night. Now off to play again the songs in my spotify.

When I saw the title, I thought of wanting to watch it but I'm afraid it would be disappointing coz of the "(not a love story)" but something about Anne and Dingdong makes me want to really watch it. I didn't regret it. They may say this is not a love story but it has a lovely and relatable concept. I hate how Aya feels so hindered to come to Sid coz of her situation that she didn't show up. But when I saw the ring, there is somewhat an understanding made. The best part is that the ending is not sad. Not even a bit sad. There is fulfillment. There is fate. I think they both aren't married when they meet in the last scene and it's cool how they are like "lovers that meet not on the right time at first but still meant to be in the end". If you're really for that person, no matter how huge your gap may be, how twisted the road may be, how troubled your life may be, if you're meant to be together, you'll be together. Also Anne is so beautiful in whatever role she played. If I remember correctly, she was also like "Aya" in a film she had with Sam Milby. But I love "Sid and Aya" more. Dingdong also did well. I'm not a fan of him but this movie was worth the watch.

It is not a love story.. pero iba ang chemistry nilang dalawa. I got hooked. Gusto ko ulit ulitin. I wonder if this happens in real life. Hmm.. dingdong reminds me of the guy who i dated. 😏 Hope na meron sila ulit movie like this.

I really love this movie. Sobrang original ng storyline kumpara sa ibang movies. This was shown in cinemas at sobrang fan ako ni Anne at super crush ko si Dingdong pero shuta di ko alam kung ba’t di ko ‘to pinanuod sa sinehan. Ang galing nilang dalawa. Anne and Dingdong superb acting.

love this movie.not a typical one that we see.2nd time watching this in full.beautiful script,superb acting from all the cast.no unnecessary dialogues..a movie we filipinos can be proud of.the best serious acting for Anne so far,very little or no kaartehan at all.Dingdong really mastered his acting,excellent. i think and wish he could be a director in the future.

This is one of my favorite romantic movie. Not your usual and typical love story. Kahit ulit ulitin ko panoorin maganda pa din at di nakakasawa panoorin. Sid and aya both have inner demons they're fighting. Instant ang chemistry nina dingdong at anne. I love the dark theme of the movie. Dingdong"s sid reminds me of leonardo di caprio character in the wolf on wallstreet. Both anne and dingdong give justice to their role. Hindi cringe yun movie kumpara sa mga typical romance drama. Overall I give this movie high rating.

The moment I started watching this movie I felt something different. I learned that no matter how you try just to fall in love with the person you know that it is yours but no because you are not meant to be together. even though you fell a spark but still you are not meant to be but be friends. I remember nung pinanood namin to nung nagbakasyon ako sa pinas last 2018 sa SM Sta.Rosa, Laguna.. I was with my guy friend and he is fighting with his Chronic Kidney Desease. I have feelings for him and I want to confess that night while we are watching.. But I decided to kept it as a secret nalang since alam ko na di nman ako magtagal sa pinas. Continue ang pag dialysis sa knya nun nung umalis nako.. and sad to say at the age of 27 kinuha na sya ni Lord this year 2022. 🥺

This is one of Anne’s best movie in my opinion. Surprisingly Dingdong and Anne has a great chemistry, it’s unbelievable and I just enjoyed this movie completely. I just wish that they will fix the caption. I would like my friends to see it but the caption is completely off base. I hope they fix it soon! A lot more people can watch this not just our own! How is this so incomplete yet so satisfying at the same time?

This masterpiece made us all believe in "Right love at the wrong time" and the term "Black Swan," that has been mentioned many times throughout the film. Nasa sariling interpretation mo nalang siguro, kung matatawag mo ba talagang "Love Story" ang pelikula na ito o hindi.

This movie got me hooked all the way to the end.. I thought it was going to be a bore-city buttttt.. Great movie.. fantastic delivery by Anne and D!! 👏🏼

I think, i've been watching this 20x already. I just love the cliff hanging ending. At same time, I want more from the film. Can they make movies like this? I want to see more of dingdong and anne.. Can viva films make more sensible movie like this? Heart felt, unexpected, hurting at same time there's a realization.
