I've known Sid for 30 years! He live in Simi Valley, Calif. with his then wife patt, and their two children. One thing I haven't seen, was that Sid was the Producer and Director of a teen camp, which they would do a play for the community. He loved to help the kids. Also ,in the 1994 earthquake, Sid came over to my home and helped me and my children to pack and get out!!!! The donut shop n Simi is going miss him!!!! Love ya Sid!!!!
He looked so much healthier here than he did in interviews in 2019. His health may have been fading but he remained sharp as hell and funny as all hell. R.I.P. Sidney the legend.

He was already sick here. His health had been declining for awhile. He was getting thinner and thinner and his voice was becoming softer and he was moving slower. Look at him in interviews from 2012/2013 compared to this interview. He really thinned out a lot between then and 2017. So while he looked "healthy here" in September 2017, he wasn't healthy. Just the following month he was even thinner and moved and talked much slower. His health started to deteriorate pretty rapidly after this interview. By 2018 he looked like he was dying and by 2019 it was really sad to see him completely emaciated and struggling to move and talk above a whisper. He probably had been fighting cancer and didn't tell anyone about it.
