Big fan of these upgrades! Please keep 'em coming :D It was interesting to see a knights tribal in a different wedge (I was expecting the precon to be in mardu), now I have another excuse to play esper - much to the joy of my playgroup xD

I would prefer Mardu as Esper ... I only have 8 blue card in the deck and there is barely any knight in blue !!😢

Yeah, odd that it's in Blue, at least you get some good interaction by way of U, but... Yeah, haha. Mardu would've made much more sense.

@@luckystyle83 I personally enjoy building/playing things outside of their usual space. Yeah, Mardu would be better, but we have that already.... kinda getting old. Also as someone who barely plays blue(-ish) decks and hates most of the blue archetypes it is nice to finally give some of the blue cards a home without it being one of the degenerate decks they tend to be in normally. I miss my Tournament Grounds and Stormfist Crusader tho ^^

It is nice they added a few really great blue cards to the set though. Bringing back horsemanship is horrifying and my friends do not like that I have unblockable knights that also get bigger when I draw cards thanks to one of the azorious knights 😅

Why would you cut Vanquishers Banner from a tribal build? 5 CMC might seem a bit much, but the value is definitely there. Invasion of New Capenna is sweet in this deck, too. It takes a spot as relatively decent removal and when flipped Holy Frazzle-Cannon just goes bonkers with the +1 counters. I also included Spirit Mantle and Unquestioned Authority in my upgrade. Great budget cards that give protection from creatures, making sure you get them sweet sweet Sidar triggers.

I imagine mostly for the cost over anything else with V. Banner (Kris’s design). We normally cover cEDH decks, so anything too costly gets cut, but for a longer game it totally makes sense. Honestly, Invasions in general for a Knight Tribal - with the evasion cards you mentioned - would be dope. 👌 Good suggestions

@@LocalGameGroup Oh, OK I wasn't aware of the c in your EDH 😅 The evasion works great. Only got to test the deck in 2 games as of today, but I obliterated my buddies OG Edgar Markov tribal both times in a 1v1 setting. The second time it turned out more voltrony by accident... 3 hits with an unblockable 7 power Sidar... wasn't really planning on that when I did the upgrade. Curious how it holds up against the whole playgroup tomorrow...

so honestly banner is one that definitely passes the eye test. But unfortunately it isn’t that strong here. In the late game, we will usually be doing a lot more knight reanimating as opposed to casting knights, therefore the cards draw ability doesn’t trigger often

@@krislagreca6152 Yeah that was my second thought too about the banner, but I still left it in as a backup for when Sidar is somehow gone or uncastable... will see if it comes up often and maybe cut later on.

Had considered her when I upgraded my precon, but I think she is not thaaaaaat much of a powerhouse, unless you go pretty hard in the aristocrat/removal theme. For my more aggro/anthem deck she just felt not right
