Welcome to another video of Sunday Bharat Journey.
Today we are in Junagadh, Gujarat, and here is something interesting: the Siddi community.
The Siddis (Afro-Indians) are a tribal population whose members live in coastal Karnataka, Gujarat, and in some parts of Andhra Pradesh. Historical records indicate that the Siddis were brought to India from Africa by the Portuguese about 300-500 years ago.
In this video, we talked with the Siddi community and discussed tourism, government schemes, and about their life.
