Your channel is very informative, we are in Turkey/Antalya 2-3 times a year, in 4 years (pensioners) possibly more often for a longer period of time. greetings from Germany
Just came back Yesterday from Side, and Yhh the prices are higher than usual and most shop owners want on Euros, I exchange my Pounds to Lira so it wasn't that bad was getting 21 lira for a pound but the prices gone high, I understand the country is going through problems but still a beautiful place
Always nice to watch your travel videos. I live just outside Side and must say, you have given a fairly good overview of this touristic city. Looking forward to your next travels. İyi günler
Yay! We are going to Side 15 days. :D The first road you drove in is the best place for cheaper hotells close to the beach. It is the oldest hotel areaou outside old town. I have always sstayed there on vacation and lived down there is well in 94. Ne kadar.. Well that su was not cheap for sure. It seems you went on the top. Where the big mosque is. There it is definately cheaper indeed. A lot of lokantasies as well. I haven been to Side in nine year. I have don a lot of research. We wont be eating much in old town. Food is never as good as in the lokantasis and so expensive. I have the travel bug so badly now I have even started packing. Thanks for showing Nova mall. I havent seen anything for inside it yet.
Thank you for posting never been to side before will be there in sep getting very excited now this is the frist video with the hotel am staying at very helpful 😀
Hello Olga~!! I live in Konyalti Liman and am a Korean who arrived in Antalya last February. I got a lot of information from your channel and helped my family settle down in Antalya. Thanks again. If I get a chance someday, I'd like to serve a cool juice ^^
Thanks! I have been in Seoul once and liked the city a lot 😊 Hope everything will be good for your family here in Antalya. If you see me around, come and say hi😊

*** Question, Please*** Olga. We're Subscribers and LIKE all of your videos. We are now planning on 3 months in Turkey beginning January '23 until March 30th. I cannot find the information video on how to rent an apartment... We are undecided between Antalya, Alanya and Fethiye. Can you offer us any advice? How to find an apartment, Studio or 1 Bedroom, furnished... $400-$500 USD??? Any rental agencies you recommend so we can get a local price and not tourist price??? Thank you for guiding us!
Hi, Thank you! Check out this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1IdqzPXgndI.html There I shared my experience with renting an apartment. Although prices for short-term rent are always higher than long-term (a year).
@@OlgaProGoingPlaces but I wasn't a big fan of shop owners and restaurant owners standing outside trying to make you come in to their establishment. Wasnt a big fan of that but apart from that It was all good 🙂
TL to £ on 10th Aug is 21.71 make sure you bring your currency over and exchange it here as you get a better rate. Make sure the taxi drivers put the meter on its law over here so dont be fooled by them, we have a friend who is a taxi driver. All imports have shot up in price so make sure you bring plenty of sunscreen
Love your videos! Thank you for including such useful information in them! 🙂❤🙏 Would be great if you could do a video about public transportation in Antalya Kaleiçi/Konyaalti area 😊
@@OlgaProGoingPlaces Thank you for the reply 😊 I have seen this video but I was thinking about way of paying for public transport. Like if it is needed to pay to the driver-cash or card (lira/dolars/pounds), by app, or transportation card (and where to buy it from). If you could help with this kind of information would be great appreciated 😊❤
I’ve shown the transportation card and where to buy it 😊 Once you see the ticket machine at the bus station, you can buy the card easily with Turkish Lira cash. There is a ticket machine at the airport too, right at the tram station that goes to the city.
yeah, I went from 4% loudness to 7-8% for this video because I couldn’t hear the background music at all in the previous videos. thanks for the feedback!
Witaj. Proszę o adres Side - ters Villa, bo w Google nie mogę znaleźć a chce odwiedzić 🤩 dziękuję i pozdrawiam😊.... Już adres znalazłam w linku w opisie filmu 😀 Pozdrawiam 🙂
The law is you will get as long as they want to give you :) But on Facebook a lot of people say that these days first-timers get only 6 months most of the time
Just got back from Side and was surprised to see all the prices were in Euros. Turkey isn't in the EU, ridiculous! Lots of rude shop keepers. Loved the ruins though
Thank you for providing impartial report to your followers. I've recently discovered your channel and watched several of the videos. Is Rene also a travel blogger? I hope someday you can make a video about archeological sites around Antalya. Best wishes.
Rene is my husband:) We shared a bit of our story in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WaCZvv0haSg.html Thanks for content suggestions, I appreciate it. I have videos about archeological sites in Fethiye, if you’re interested ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZCXZPdFjkfs.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_bU66VQ1D2s.html
The cafes etc that have prices in euro. Can we not pay in lira? I am going side soon I already have lira from before but I do not have euro. I understand most tourists are probably from Europe But It makes no sense to change back to euro for me when officially currency is lira???
I would assume that every restaurant wil accept TL as it is the official currency. My thoughts are because of inflation it’s more convenient. for them to set the prices in $/€ so they don’t have to change them all the time
we don’t work in Turkiye. I wouldn’t recommend Turkiye for people looking for work. Economy here is going through a tough time. But for people with savings/income from abroad it’s a great country to live, because the country is safe, has good infrastructure and offers so many opportunities for traveling.
If you are planning to move to Turkey 1 bit of news they are locking down areas for foreigners to get residency so make sure you find out if you can get it for the area you want to live in
that's quite a long ride on a highway, unless you have experience driving in Turkey or in countries like Vietnam/Thailand, I would recommend a bus :) You can find bus prices online. Also I'm not sure if they will allow you to rent a scooter to go between cities.
