Cut together a side by side edit of the final video vs the previs/storyboards that I created for the Oliver Tree video. Once again, so stoked that we were able to help communicate Oliver's insane and amazing vision to the rest of the team and bring his dream to life haha. Big thanks to Brendan Vaughn for letting me use the hi res output for this edit. Enjoy!

@@CrazedArmadill0 the large outfits were obviously purposeful. The suit had supports built into it for him to even be able to wear it. It's not something that can be miscommunicated. And you can even see the giant hat at 2:56...

If im correct, they used kermit in the 3D scenes because they already had a kermit 3D model, and used it instead of making a 3D model of Oliver. Correct me if i was wrong.

I had roughly 3 days to throw this together before they moved forward with the music video and my schedule was tight with my full time job and Kermit was all I had on me during our in person meetings. Def no time to model oliver lol.

Yes this is real. I worked along side Oliver in person as well as his co-director Brendan back in August this year to visualize his vision for the video to communicate to the rest of the team that helped create the video before they shot and edited it.

Don’t worry, English is tricky sometimes. The phrasing would be better as “Final was as good as the storyboards” or “Final was better than the storyboards”, depending on which you mean.

cocolocotino club yes, I was reached out to by the co-director who I had worked with previously to help get a working storyboard/previs animatic to present to the label and use in production and I was able to meet with them (including Oliver) in person over the span of a few days to get it done. If you watch his behind the scenes documentary, during the end credits I am featured alongside them as is the work in progress previs alongside Oliver 👍🏻
