Trust me guys...She is lying... 1st step : use it on your side of the neck... If you fell buring Or itchiness may be then you consult your Dermatologist but when you start new products it gives redness or itchiness for few days but after a certain period of time it is ok...but if you still feel the burn stop using it.

U should start with salycylic acid face wash... directly using serum can damage ur skin barriers and show side effects... also it's also important to note which skin type u have... if u have oily skin then it is generally recommended to use, but if u have combination skin type then only apply it on ur T zone area and note that this is not a simple face wash, theres a specific way to use it.

Yess if you oily acne prone skin , both salicylic acid facewash and salicylic acid serum are highly recommended. Remember niacinamide won’t help you tu cure acne marks as it don’t get deeply absorbed in our skin due to its heavy molecular size . If you take ma opinion I would definitely recommend you to go for kojic acide serum at night and salicylic acid serum at morning followed by a oil free moisturiser. These two products will definitely help you to get rid of acne mark . Start with low concentrations of kojic acid and once you are adapted to kojic acid you can use upto 2-3 %

Wash your face with a gentle cleanser(which suits your skin) Then dry your skin and now apply serum ( If you are new then don't use it in morning use it at night) and also use only 2times in a week if you are new but once you get familiar with it you can use daily after this use a moisturizer and go to bed but if you are using serum at daytime then after moisturizer you must must must apply sunscreen... And if you are using it at night then next morning you wash your face then moisturize and apply sunscreen....
