As a Realtor of nine years and having a few emails from Side in the past year , one just today I decided to do my homework. Still not 100% sold but I am more interested now than before. Great channel I just subbed.

Interesting point of view. I'm a Broker in the Texas Hill Country. I'm currently talking to Side and so far, I like what I hear. I'm taking a deeper dive into what specifically is being done for agents and how it will make me more productive with less time. On the other hand, I'm running the numbers and so far they don't add up for retaining agents.
@@KEYtoSOLD Hi Kevin! It depends on what your objective is. As a small indy broker, I didn't have access to some of the better tools without having an office of over 200 agents. With SIDE, you still act as an independent because you run your office as you currently do.
@@LuxeMonarchRealtyTexas did you sign up with Side? I gave them consideration a few years ago but think I didn't pursue due to the fact that my agents would also have to be part of their program and agree to the commission split. I had just moved them to 100% commission so it didn't feel like a good fit. Now I'm considering it for the sake of increasing business beyond what their 10% would take from my sales.
@@KEYtoSOLD Yes, I did and it absolutely helps with growing your business. We have partners that have opened offices in different states. They have changed the program a little. There is now $100 technology fee per agent, plus the SIDE split.
Great content. One question, how could Compass compete with Side? They are a brokerage model based on 50/50 splits. Side is 90/10. Compass benefits by keeping agents under their flag and furthering their brand name. Side aims to do the opposite. I don't see how Compass could pivot away from that.
I know this won't SOUND like constructive criticism, but these videos are boring. You are very animated, which is cool, but these videos leave me asking: "Why did I even watch this?"
This is just for a different target audience than normal valuetainment. Essentially people like me that have a bachelors in economics and make over 100k trying to make a larger business.
