I really like what this song represents for Marina because of one interaction smollusk has during the fight There's a moment where he mentions he can't stop himself from dancing, which is an effect that only the Calamari Inkantation has been know to have. In other words, one who was saved by the Inkantation has now made a song on a similar power level, which potentially has the ability to save others.
"You kidding? We're still on tour! The show don't STOP! Keep your boring gigs for boring people. We're out here LIVING, loser!" -Pearl Houzuki, Side Order
Compared to other Final Boss songs, Spectrum is lacking. There isn't that build-up there like there is in Fly October Fly. I don't feel like I'm saving the world and kicking ass like with other themes. Calamari Inktation has brought me to tears. I have been breathless listening to Fly Octo Fly. Spectrum doesn't make me feel anything.
@@thebrokencon9704 spectrum has one of the most epic build ups for a finale I’ve ever seen. The screen going white and tapping to the beat to bring the color back while that iconic backing track intensifies and the vocals start. It’s literally so badass and cool
Oh wow. This is amazing, I love everything about this. The bits of dialogue throughout add so much to the song and fit in with it so well. I may have screamed in excitement a little bit when the Dedf1sh part happened. And that ending makes my soul happy. This perfectly captures everything that Spectrum Obligato-- and Splatoon as a whole-- represents. I want to listen to this over and over so that I can analyze every little section. All of this is so beautiful.
