Helped me get the confidence and know how to do it on my 1980 Chevy Silverado C30 camper special dually. Been having trouble with my battery as well, but that's because i need a new one, and i don't want to go hunting for a side post battery every time i need to get one. Going to see if i can do the conversion with my dad this weekend.

That battery design is the WORST ever. Even putting a charger to it is a pain because the clamps cannot hold onto the OEM bolts. Great job on this.

Thanks! Yeah it's terrible and I need to do it on my suburban next. Your right a charger can not hold on to it to save it's life!

Not a great idea using those cheap universal cable ends on stranded cable, they do not give a quality connection. You can get cable ends that give a much better connection but involves a little more work putting them on.
