Thank you so much for this! I love your channel. I was so moved by this show that I stood in the cancelations line on closing night and was lucky enough to see it again. As amazing as their singing was, I was blown away by their acting (you can see some of it in the beginning of this clip). So nuanced--they both created really complex and compelling characters.
To be fair, this was over twenty years ago and peoples’ voices change. But also she’s built a career on wailing and screaming and that’s going to do long term damage even when done “healthily”, see: Idina Menzel.
This was created from the raw footage (about 80 min.) that was pro-shot during previews and used to create the show's press reel/b-roll. There were two separate cameras, a "tight" and a "wide," and I did my own (amateur) edit of the two together.
That's amazing!!! I would give my left arm to be able to see the show in it's entirety, especially in such high quality! You have such a rarity, I've scoured the internet trying to find a recording but never could. :(
