Was looking to see how you wrap the fender piece you have there

Hey, I had a question about an older car. I am going to give wrapping my 2000 Forester a shot myself. My only concern is the old paint on the car. I know I will have to get rid of any rust etc. But would you recommend lightly sanding everywhere just to get a smooth surface with no dirt etc to deal with? Paint is already aged so I am not worried about that, just thinking that would probably be the best way instead of clay barring everything, etc. Thank in advanced!

what's some criteria for choosing an installer? what to look for? unfortunately i'm on the other side of the globe so it wouldn't make sense to ship a car to you :)

These skilled guys make big $$$. Took my car to a place nearby just to have the front splitter lip, side mirrors, side skirt lips and the rear spoiler in carbon fiber - estimate = $1200.00! It would take 5 hours they said.

As a beginner I have a exacto knife would u recommend using that?!
