Pretty sure it can depending on the door, plane, altitude, etc. Edit: Always meant to put this but never bothered, the planes you go in for skydiving, they have doors, they open them mid-air.
Matthew Weston Actually it doesn’t. It’s about air pressure. The pressure outside and inside is heavily different making the door impossible to open. After the doors are closed and before takeoff pilots pressurize the aircrafts. At that moment you Can open but as the plane climbs and reached atleast above 10000 ft. It’s impossible to open the door. It doesn’t depend on the aircraft.
