The thing I hate about the dynamic between the hellfire club and the underground is that the underground plays into the idea that no matter how horribly violent and discriminatory someone is, you should never fight back, and that why they never accomplished anything. The underground was running around putting out fires while the hellfire club was actually trying to stop the fires from happening, but they were portrayed as the villains.
@@jasonmoukala8909 Why not? It'd be different if you had no choice. I'm in between. On one side, the Underground is right: We want peace between people and mutants, but the Hellfire Club is right too: People don't listen.
@@jasonmoukala8909 I know, but if you watched Arrow, you know Oliver only killed if he had no other choice. It's the same with this. You're right, killing doesn't fix anything, but sometimes, desperate times call for desperate measures
Madeleine Braley yeah same here I still miss the show after the canceled and im glad that andy and lorna went back to the underground after learning the truth about reeva and she made andy killed rebecca who I miss deeply
That's absolutely fair, but she's not wrong about the amount of people and stations they've lost since the Struckers joined up with them. She's maybe wrong to blame it solely on the Struckers, but she has numbers and statistics and figures and facts to rely on when making her statement of blame. And Sage's powers do include running statistics and figures in her head, she's basically a living supercomputer (this is based on the comics, where we are explicitly told what her powers are). I'm not siding with any one of the characters by saying this, just stating my opinion of her statement.
@@micaelagauthier4964 its true problems did occur when the stuckers got there, but if polaris didnt get arrested not a single one of those things would have needed to happen.
The Underground and the Inner Circle needed to come together, because its true the Underground was not getting anything done but some of their philosophies would have been good for the Inner Circle.
Yeah exactly but im glad he came back after he found out the truth about his boss and for making him kill his girlfriend which is why I hate reeva and Rebecca will always be remembered
I’m always on the underground side. Some of them are just plain ignorant like Fade for example. The people I was concerned about in the inner circle are Andy and Lorna.
Recently watched X-men '97 1x09, and they had a moment where the team split to side with Magneto, which reminded me of this finale with Lorna and Andy.
