Pretty cool piece, the headcoat has a slight Star Wars vibe about It! My only gripes would be the fabric cape and the busy base. The 'collar' is called a ruff, widely worn across Europe from the mid 16th to 17th century. Bureau evidence suggests that It's still worn, to this day in the clandestine clubs of Colorado! I saw Malavestros at a Comic Con. I personally would have given this statue a much higher score. I loved how the colors popped, especially on that scroll. I didn't see Odim yet, but so far I'd say Malavestros is the best from the COTD Line. Heck, I 'd say he's one of Sideshow's Best overall. Now that I got my first COTD Statue (Shard) I'm kicking myself for not getting this one.

I just started collecting yesterday so I'm just waiting on my order this Wednesday.

It's very well done for sure, but I'm not a big fan of cluttered pieces. Like some of the Shiflett brothers work or Nina Dolono stuff. Too busy.

Man Sideshow really took a gamble by making sculptures of characters that is not well known. Malavestro is very hellish looking clown like character which is nice looking. Normally when the base has so much involvement with items, it tend to overpower the main character. In this case because we do not know whom or what this character is about, the base actually helps to define it. Malavestro does have the wow factor but for $600 for a yet unknown is taking a big gamble. That being said I have to admit it is a very nice peace.

Just bought a 2015 Gethsemoni for a steal. Such a nice piece. Best face of the lot. The 1/6 figure is based on that sculpt.

Looks good. Seems Sideshow show more creativity with their CotD pieces. Not my thing but you are getting a nice CotD collection there.

I've always liked this piece because of the gradient color they did on the scroll

Totally love it, the details are so cool, and I freakin dig the colors. The bottom blue color looks to be the color of a reef, and that ties into the pirate theme. Also extremely cool the way the clown hat looks to be biting down on his head. This rocks! 4 out of 5!🤓

Im usually not in to much that isn't Marvel, but for some reason I really like this. I think its really cool how they did the little things coming off the scrolls especially

I love the joker and all it’s interpretations not just on dc but jokers or clowns from different manga so this fits

I have never really heard of this series however this statue looks incredible. The base looks incredible the books,skulls and the melted candles looks amazing and mystical. The broken tombstone looks stunning. The burnt stomach is very detailed the jester outfit is amazing and dark. The concept is definitely a 5. The portrait is absolutely beautiful. 4/5 for desighn is very fair. I think paint and sculpt is very nicely done especially for a mystical magical type statue. The cape I quite enjoy a killer klowns from outer space vibe. I love the neck collar oh damn the burnt skull back looks awesome as hell (no pun) haha I think this is just a fantastic piece. I think my favourite parts of this statue is the scrolls and red demon and blue angel. 3/5 is also fair for paint I guess the saying less is more on the paint. And 4/5 for sculpt is amazingly fair. You got him for an amazing price. Yeah $600 is very steep. 3/5 is very fair on the points you make with that if he is with the other pieces then he will look better :). Take care Mr.X stay safe.

I've got 5 COTD pieces. And Malavestros is probably my favorite. Very detailed.

The base is busy but makes sense with the story they are telling. It makes me think of an old castle in fantasy stories😀 and the character has a great creepy yet old world vibe, super cool statue🙌

The detail on this is unreal, this is the best Joker statue ever! I've been watching a lot more stuff in X1.25 lately. I get such a back log of videos to catch up on at times depending on what is eating up my free time
