I for one would be in favour of "commiting crimes" as the equivalent of "Oping" with an outlaw. "Yay commiting crimes towards B Main" "Derke commiting crimes down C"
He's got the outlaw: -> 2 Popping? BOSG (Bossing) Slinging? "He's got a law" "Double marshal" "He's got a 2 tap C long" Double dump? He's fanning? Conclusion: "Fken braindead sniper" is the go-to callout
@@kaikwon1604 double dumps not bad but everyone talking abt this like people talk in sentences in matches, it's gonna be "Jett Outlaw C long" "Care Outlaw/Double Dump (love it), play slow"
Derke also added that the Outlaw in its current state is NOT its finalised form. It might go through a bit of rework before it's released, so there might be some minor changes.
as a fan of both the marshal and awp i've felt the need for a mid-tier sniper rifle, and given how the marshal one-taps unarmored and the awp one-taps full armor, it would make logical sense for the outlaw to one-tap light armor. but i just flat don't understand why it had to be 140 to the body. i mean at 140, just run outlaw + shorty, and if u get caught out at
I find this weapon extremely intresting from a game balance point of view. I feel the need for a weapon like this stems from the lack of a head and body armour mechanic as well as the movement of valorant. The speed of the player in CS:GO/CS:2 allowed for the scout to be a very easy quick peak damage weapon allowing for other players to finish them off with the lower tier weapons. That's why you would mainly see the scout on earlier rounds, however you would still see it being use on an eco mainly by CT's as it still was effective at doing just that. However, in Valorant with healing utility on agents like Skye, which are extremely important to the meta (the agent not the healing), the power of the Marshall is drastically reduced as now players with rifles will have to fight an enemy that has 100 health rather than 49 therefore negating the main role of the weapon from the source game that they took inspiration from. The scout was perfectly positioned to destroy eco and save rounds if the enemy wasn't willing to buy utility to flush out the sniper, however the marshall in valorant is a save killer and basically just that.
tbf, there isnt a term for using the Marshall either. Who the fuck says "he's marshal'ing!" or "I'm gonna marsh!!" LOL? I think most people will refer to the outlaw the same way people refer to the marshall as the scout too, but I can see why that would be confusing...
I love how we have so many funny, cheap round changing guns like the Classic, Stinger, Judge and arguably the Ares. Now we got the Outlaw. Pro scene is about to be more fun to watch with all the non Rifle/OP players.
I'm more worried that it will get worse at the pro level. The outlaw HEAVILY punishes forcing, so if you win pistol on defence and buy the outlaw, the attackers basically have to full save, or they just gave you effectively an Operator for 2.4k during rounds 2-4. So round 2 has to be a save. Round 3 has to be a full shields buy, which becomes a super important round, or else the defenders probably start 4-0 with a real Operator for round 5. Before, the Marshal only punished saves, and forcing against it was very strong. Now, there is an anti forcing gun that is purchasable on round 2, with enough power to contest rifles better than all the other anti forcing weapons (Spectre, Ares, Judge).
My cope against good Judge players and Odin spams is "at least this game doesn't have an autosniper". But I guess it's soon going the be the way I *used* to cope.
5 phandals every buy round is very boring imo, sure sometimes we get an odin or an op (and some judges before it got nerfed to the ground), but the best way to add gun variety is having one that's viable in a buy round and cheaper than a vandal.
If u can't hit a head imagine just hit. 2 quick body and if ur playing chamber and jett then u have a massive advantage cuz as soon as the reload kicks in ur out
it's literally a shorty and op at the same time at half the price of the op. It's cheaper than the phantom and vandal. It one shots light, and one shot headshot like vandal and guardian. It no scopes like a marshall. What in the fuck lmao. Why would you ever buy the guardian now?
I'm failing to understand how this is only going to be 2600 and the op is 4700. I don't see how the OP is worth 2100 more. If you can 2 shot in the same exact spot immediately then this is going to be basically an OP in many players hands. The only downside would be you have to reload each time instead of being able to keep shooting like with an OP. That isn't worth 2100 more credits... But they did say that it's not as good non-scoped. It's not a Marshal 2.0. The accuracy decreases significantly. So the shorty part wasn't that realistic. Hit then switch to pistol is though, then you have 1 bullet in the chamber and faster reload. So that's fine.
"Doesn't seem to be anything for 119." Except it's literally half of 238? Obviously that's the reason it's the number. Better to ask why 238. Doesn't really matter. The gun is a bit broken with the videos I've seen. Think they need to nerf it a bit before release. I get the eco price makes it not as OP in pro-play... but this will cause some chaos in ranked.
Nah, that would defeat the purpose. The outlaw is supposed to be an anti light shields, anti eco gun while allowing you to save up a bit. Making it more expensive than a rifle while being far more limited than a rifle would just mean that it is never worth the investment. And if you somehow make it worth the investment of 3.5k, then the Operator becomes useless. It will probably have to be nerfed a bit, but I don't think the nerf will be a price increase since the cost range doesn't have much room upwards without having to directly compete with the Vandal or Phantom.
I think maybe they nerf the spread unscoped, but other than that is pretty balanced. Will be crazy to see it in cracked aim players like aspas and something though 🤔
I was wondering, when it comes to breaking a KJ ult through a wall, would it be better to shoot once then reload and then shoot the next two bullets rapidly to break the ult? From what I can see, the reload time for just reloading 1 bullet is very quick, quicker than reloading two.
Oh don't worry they're gonna nerf this gun too, just wait. It's currently too op but no gun meta has lasted that long(bucky, ares, stinger), every one of them got nerfed either back to balanced state or to the ground.
@@speedforce8970 but you also get 5 shots instead of 2. Outlaw can't be considered overpowered if Marshall isn't. Especially the fast 2 shots part of it. You may call it overpowered for the 140 damage it does.
