Siding With The Templars Reaction | DRAGON AGE: INQUISITION 

I think people are too quick to judge the templars quest - I think it's a better storyline overall. Cole does much better here than being introduced at Haven imo.

It's awesome to see you react to this although I am disappointed nobody in the twitch chat suggested to watch the clip of Inquisitor promoting Barris.

My first playthrough I chose Mages, and they are who I usually pick; but Bioware is great at having me convinced that a choice that I made was the best option; only for me to do another playthrough with the other choice and somehow make me think that was the better choice.

Nothing to do with this video, but I just want you to know that you are very likeable person and you are doing amazing job. Ive said this before but, hell, thats how I feel watching your videos.

Also, the video does not show it, but instead of Samson and the red templars in the Haven attack there will be Calpernia and the venatori. Maybe search a little something about her, I've always found her much more interesting than Samson.

I feel like your advisors are too biased against the Templars. The Mages at Redcliff committed just as much treachery as the Templars yet everyone goes easy on them when you return to Haven whereas the Templars are berated. The Templar missions and story later on in the game once you get to Skyhold are more interesting though, they redeem themselves, and Calpernia is a better written villain than Samson imo.

That's so nostalgic. I remember the first time I played I didn't know that you could only do one of these quests and so I went to recruit the templars first and ultimately conscripted them into the inquisition. I was gutted when I realized I wouldn't be able to go rescue the mages but during the first playthrough I try to stick with my mistakes. Nowadays I usually recruit the mages because I like me some mages and that horrible version of the future kinda makes Coriphishits feel more dangerous role-play wise but I admit I still like the Templar quest better, haha. Also: Cole. Always Cole.

I pick this route when I want to save Ser Barris and Lord Abernache. They are so worth saving. Ser Barris and the remaining templars getting redemption. I was also more sympathic towards Cullen in my templar run. And dumping Movran the Under (the guy who threw goats at Skyhold 😂🐐) to Lord Abernach later with a War Table mission is one of the most hilarious outcomes. This mission also introduces Empress Celene's assassination plot a lot better, and I recalled feeling more attached towards Cole in my templar run. Calpernia is also the better villain than Samson.

Watching Meg watching an ad only to be interrupted by an ad is definitely a commentary on something or other

I don't like time-limited quests - so I tried this only once. Besides - there's Dorian. He is more fun.

Thedas is a little depressive, but one the most rich and interesting fantasy sets I ever played, digital and on table (yes, there is a face-to-face RPG campaign set of Dragon Age)

i think it's kind of unfortunate that the templar quest gets very little leading up to it compared to the mage quest (since you can do the first part of it and then go with templars instead), because i honestly really prefer the templar storyline, despite being pretttty firmly on the mages' side in the whole conflict which is not to say that the mage storyline isn't also great, just that it's REALLY bleak and intense while the templar storyline feels more... satisfying?? and. also cole is my absolute favorite character in this game. dorian is a really great friend but cole is my Big Fav lol

Cole, the obligatory character Bioware has every game that you wish you could romance but can't. Looking at you Kasumi.

The whole Templar vs Mages political conflict is my favorite part of the Dragon Age universe

I was pro save mage then once ive tried save the Templars and idk why but ut makes more sense not only did you save the Templars but you stopped even more seekers frim dieing and the inquisition is part of the seekers though the only sad thing is you kill a special person from the books 📚 sadly there journey will end if you don't pick magers
