It’s actually ridiculous watching this. Like every single play is so nasty. He made soooo many plays this year that could be in his top 10 ever. Like how are we even gonna be able to narrow it down to a top 10 when it’s all said and done? He is the most dominant athlete I’ve ever seen at their craft. His ability to protect the puck and win puck battles then making a sniper precision pass or just create plays from nothing is a true gift to watch. Great video, god I love watching Sidney Crosby play hockey, it’s truly something to behold.
Mike Schmitt With all these young stars coming into the league it seems like Crosby and Ovi are getting pushed out of the limelight, especially with them being at the tail-end of their careers. Yet Crosby quietly put up 100pts and I say quietly only because I don’t see him being covered as much as he used to
His agility (change of direction, circling with his toes pointed outwards, etc) and IQ (tape-to-tape no-look backhand passes..) are also off the charts. He's also one of the best defensive forwards but no one ever talks about it. Never seen a player make 1-2 "miracle-level" plays on a nightly basis the way Crosby does.
Man watching these highlights after every year I realize just how good Crosby is and how easy it is to take for granted his skill. It's just so normal for these plays to happen during a game that you hardly notice them, but watching these highlights almost all of them were some kind of highlight reel type goal or assist. Pretty incredible.
Ok so I’m a flyers fan but truthfully... I put him third best all time. His points per game might be much lower then the other top guys ever but he played in the era of low scoring hockey. No player other then The Great One has dominated as much as Crosby. Mcdavid will end with a higher ppg then crosby since scoring is going up but will never have as much success and will never dominate as much as crosby has. Try changing my mind. Argue someone other than Mario and Gretzky above Crosby.
He’s the best there is in the league and will remain to be until his final game in the NHL. Let’s just hope we get to watch him for many more years. We’re blessed as hockey fans!
This player is just amazing and I think no player is comparable to him. Even after all the commotions, he continues to dominate his sport and also improve his game. Macdavid at an incredible speed and Ovechkin at a great shot but it does not compare to Crosby in my opinion. He is in my top 3 best player of all time. thank you for editing, I really appreciate.
Best backhand in the league... One of, if not the most accuarate shot in the league;l.. But mcdavid is the best now, Hes passing the torch to mcdavid..
