Young sidon is so cute. This video is recorded and edited by me: Gameburst Please subscribe for more The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Content! #shorts #link #mipha #sidon
The scene where he stop Waterblight Ganon from killing her show just how much the voice acting has improved from BOTW to AoC. You can feel all the emotion in the sentence " NO!! I will not allow you to take her again. " It hurt to hear, but the delivery was so good.
Yeah at that moment he realized that in the aoc timeline, he would be able to grow up with mipha still alive. And he would have to go back knowing he failed to protect mipha in his own timeline. I feel so bad that Sidon has to live with knowing that.
the scene where sidon comes in when mipha was supposed to die and yells "you wont take her away from me again!" literally made me fucking cry like a baby
Bro! I jumped off my couch screaming his name! The Entrance, The Line, The Sheer Presence! THE SMILE!!! That Scene was So Perfect to me, It literally took me a Whole Week to stop talking about it!
This scene hits even harder, because of the fact that Mipha actually survived what was supposed to kill her in this timeline. You can imagine Sidon’s realization that the young Sidon can actually grow up with his sister, and he now has the opportunity to protect her. Edit: For all of those wondering, this is from Age of Calamity. In this timeline (I won’t spoil how) there was a split in which the champions were rescued before they died, so they had another chance to fight the calamity when it first showed up. If you want to know more, I highly recommend looking into the game yourself. Edit: I hope y’all realize that this is the most likes I’ve gotten, ever, on any comment. Y’all gave me more attention than my dad does. Bar ain’t too high for that one though.
You kind of don't have to imagine it if you watch the full unedited cutscene. The edit/crop of this particular short makes it not quite as noticeable, but in the full memory, theres a much longer pause after "Strong enough to..." where it cuts to Mipha's face, and in certain translations including the English there's a hitch in his voice before he continues with "to protect your dear sister" (Edit: this isn't meant as a critique on the edit or anything, the full part of that scene definitely wouldn't fit the YT shorts time limit so it makes sense to edit those extra bits out)
@@muchplayer9917 Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Great game. Many people say it's not canon, but that's just wrong. It is canon but plays in a different timeline. But this timeline is connected with the original timeline where BotW takes place And this is not a Spoiler btw. It happens literally right at the beginning of the game, where they show how a robot named Terrako travels from the original timeline back in time to another timeline, which makes me wonder, why so many people think that this game is not canon, just because the events are different from what happened before BotW... okay, sorry, I think I kind of confused you there xD Just remember that this game is canon but it plays in a different timeline so it's definetly worth playing!! It's very interesting to see Hyrule before it got destroyed!
At this moment, Sidons slight hesitation of "Stong enough to... To protect your dear sister" almost hurts when you realize older Sidon lost his sister at that young age. Sidon is so strong, but he's hurting.
@@ungesbunges6885 Baby Sidon said the same thing. Little Dude put his figurative 10 toes down (how many do Zora have, anyway?), and we are all here for it!
The saddest thing to me about baby Sidon is that he had to deal with the grief and loss of her when he was barely old enough to talk. Hyrule warriors gives a good ending but in canon, it doesn't end happily. I didn't realize he was so young when mipha died.
@@queenlygoddess1348 like all the champs live and demo ganon, link never goes into the 100 year skip chamber, and everything works? I haven't played I'm putting together what I know
@@FF-tp7qs the castle was never destroyed so ganon is still imprisoned, so maybe next games take from age od calamity timeline. Because *spoiler*............ ........ ....... ...... At the end they destroyed ganon for good
This comment was definitely written by Sidon. Which is fine, because the Sidon-esque Si-Vibe it has makes me feel like Sidon is in the room with me. Nay, inside me. I can feel Sidon coming inSide me.
A lot of us would want to blame or even attack our younger selves for what we grew up to, while Sidon literally protected his younger self and gave the encouragement and motivation his younger self would cherish.
@J.D. Clayborne advice other younger people on what not to do. You'll never be able to tell your younger self those words, and your younger self didn't knew what you know now. So the next best thing is learning from those things and teaching others to avoid them... I mean, true wisdom comes from either living through some shit and coming alive and experienced on the other end, or learning to listen when others who've been through some shit advice you to do better.
@@j.d.clayborne5556 You couldn't prevent your younger self from doing those things even if you told them, and you probably shouldn't either. Best thing you could do is give advice on how to better deal with the consequences.
I like to think that baby Sidon would just be walking around one day 100 years later and he'd just come across a mirror and be like "Huh, why do I look so familiar?..." "WAIT A MINUTE-"
@@The_sniper1954 But it wouldn't be this baby Sidon that travels back. The older one traveled from the BotW timeline to save Mipha in the AoC timeline.
Baby Sidon is adorable as fuck. I need more scenes of him in my life. Like how can you not look at him and want all good things for him. He’s absolutely adorable and precious!
@@OMartinez91 SPOILER: After playing through his questline where he becomes the new king and sage, I'd like to see that happen, especially because he's such a bro to link that he deserves the happiness he started to find in the timeskip between botw and totk
this scene makes me cry every time i watch it without fail... don't we all wish we could go back in time to tell our younger selves exactly what we needed to hear and heal?it makes it worse that Sidon's talking with the knowledge that he couldn't protect his sister in his own timeline..
In the actual scene Sidon pauses when he says "Strong enough to..." before finishing his sentence because in his timeline, Mipha has already been killed and he wasn't able to save her (BOTW). This scene hit me so hard, and Sidon is my favorite in terms of both character and gameplay.
I love Hyrule warriors and it was simply because the champions got saved and weren't killed off. I remember just feeling so happy seeing those cut acenes, I honestly loved the scene pf sidon coming in and protecting his sister. And just the scenes of them getting to interact with the champions was heartwarming, especially with sidon.
When “age of calamity” gave me the opportunity to save Mipha. I didn’t care if it made any sense. I didn’t care if it was shark, jumping. I didn’t care that my eyes were singing from the tears. This game was giving me the chance to save her and dammit I was taking it. I know that dynasty warriors, tape games are designed for you to annihilate waves of enemies easily. But I swear, at that moment I was plowing through the enemies, like I turned on the cheat code.
What makes this hit even harder is that in every sense this was Sidon talking to himself and not only that, but calming the demons that tore him down from what originally followed. He told himself what he wanted and needed to hear, before and after his actions that lead to the loss of his sister. 😢🥺
