these earrings are beautiful I've made them in different colors as I made the second pair I noticed that if I started on the corner edge instead of the top when I got around I ended exactly where I finish the earrings faster but anyhow thank you for the project I was just modifying the exits not pattern love these earrings

Can you use a cloisonné pearl in the middle? I worry the thread will hurt by the tiny metal details on the that pearl.

Could I use a smaller Pearl in the middle, like an 8mm? I fell the 10mm would be too big/heavy for me. I’m 66 and my ears stretch! LOL!

I've made these using Swarovski's neon "pearls" with matte/shiney black 11/0 Miyuki's and 3mm jet bicones. They all came out looking amazing! Then I took your design (but didn't add the large drop bead), added 2 more rounds of "3mm bicone/3mm pearl/3mm bicone" to one of the points and turned it into a cross. Thanks for all the tutorials you give us. You're such an inspiration!

Will 4mm pearls work instead of 3mm? If so, what do you suggest with the seed beads?

I am amazed at how gorgeous these are. I made them with peach pearls, Miy salmon-lined ab 11/0 + 15/0, w/3mm padparadscha bicones and silver-lined 11/0 padparadscha seed bead. I left off the drop; it was the perfect length for me without it. Prettiest earrings I've ever seen! really!! Gonna do them in black with red + silver, and lt + dk blues, and, and. My giftees are gonna be thrilled! Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing your gifts. Blessed be.
