Great video. I have a few questions: 1) What size wire were you using at 9:30 where you were reading the amps with the amprobe? Was that a 4/0 cable? 2) Regarding the Erayak inverter, can you explain to me what the 110v direct-connect terminal (#12, page 6 in the manual) is used for? 3) Could you do a video about fusing and fuse size determination for newbies/dummies? If you've already done one, could you direct me to which video it is in (haven't had a chance to go thru all your past videos)?

3/0 cable, under the 24" length so able to pull 350 amps, and 350 amp fuse since these can hit over 300 amps easily. Use the 350 amp ANL amzn.to/4crgWIY and high quality 400A fuse holder amzn.to/4cIo9nI on them. I used a older BoJack holder made for 1/0 to 3/0 cable but they don't make them anymore so the Daier tek is the best safe option.

Why is it forum people say not to mix different amp capacity in parallel... Like 230 with say 200 or 100 ah.... Seems to me the 230 will work harder or charge the 200 or 100 making head??? What is your opinion?

Seriously, they can not understand the simplicity of a VOLT! The volt does not as they think have a brain, or a conscience. It don't care if its in a Lead Acid battery or a Lithium battery. That volt could care less of those peoples opinions and that volt will rest where ever there is room to go and when called for will flow out to where ever it has to be next. When they speak of AMPERAGE they fail to understand the method of storage, it is passive mass that holds the energy, not some kooky math of matching. The idiocy came from the carbon battery, then later alkaline battery era ( mismatching cells of differing age/type ) and they failed to understand that those "pre-charged batteries" is in no way comparable to the active charged battery such as NiCad, Lithium or lead acid.

@@JOHNDANIEL1so to understand better.... The 230amp fully charged will drain down to 200 amp and then both will share the load? And charging will charge both till 200 bms cuts off then 230will charge till it has bms cuts off? Thank You for your input... Would love to see a video demonstration of how each battery reacts to charge and discharge.....please do this alot of folks will like this to see how to add more solar to existing RV setup

@@michaeld4502 No, the 230 and the 200 will drain equally and charge equally but with a mass of 15 amps on either side of 100% to 0% for the 230 ah. What you get is just 200 ah of increased storage not a different charge and use outcome beyond the 30 amp hours. However, with the inverter set to shut off at 11.0 volts you never actually drain the 230 fully or even the 200ah fully and when they are in use, they continually balance to each other so the 230 ah's volts are holding up the 200 ah's volts so it in the long run drains slower since the higher energy ( volts ) is supporting from the pair of 230 ah back feeding against the 200. No ill effects can happen unless your pulling full 1C the entire time from 100% to 0% and I can not see a single example that would happen!
