The purple color is so pretty, i bet it could be used as a dye for clothing. I have always planted corn just in a straight line, then thinned the weaker ones; I plant squash and cucumbers in hills. I am interested to see how your method works. The huge type corn, do you eat it the same with salt and butter? I want to learn more about the corn from Peru! I am also in NC.
Hey, yes I'm sure we can use it as dye. never thought about it, now I'm curious. I am sure you can eat it the same. The ways I have seen it cooked is in stews or soups.
