@@jasonwattsae On another video of yours I had commented for cu320 & dcm oa link. Now, I am doing cross cutter application where Rotary access is DCM and Camming & technology runs on cu320 dcc. Will you help me understand what is Flying Homing, also I have question direct reference generated from cu320 bypasses RGF of DCM. Will it affect on motor ?
Flying homing essentially takes the current position and makes it the home position. It is used in cutting applications to reset the home position at the position of the cut edge so that your position is now the length of the sheet (assuming no slipping). As for bypassing the RFG, you will want to have some sort of controlled acceleration. Which if you are using GMC Gearing on the CU320-2, it is taken care of by you acceleration parameters in the CU320-2.
@@jasonwattsae Firstly I want to thank you for your kind reply. I will be trying flying home so I'll update on that. Other than that I'll be testing DCC chart and overall application. So far I didn't saw that Gmc gear in block. Let me test it once on my end, I'll share my results and video if possible. Thank you again. 😊
