We go a lot more in depth in the livestreams. Even when I take clips from them there is a lot that is left out. If you can join live, if not turn them on when you are at your desk at work and let them play. I'm sure you will get a lot out of them!

Why do you put your outputs in series, and not parallel? I.E Seain bit separated from the timer on a parallel rung?

Well, for this example I was just wanting to show that you can code your logic this way. Traditionally, you couldn't have logic after a coil so you would be forced to use multiple rungs. This way, you can have all of your logic to flash the output on one rung that you can collapse so it is cleaner when you are scrolling through. Personally, it makes my stomach turn in knots when I see a coil in the middle of a rung like this. The first time I saw it a gagged. I am growing as a programmer! haha!

@@jasonwattsae The connection process with a simulated PLC is the same? Any chance on doing a quick tutorial in the future on that topic? that would be great. Almost all my experience is with AB systems, but the company is thinking on adquiring some Siemens controllers in the future. Was wondering if i can emulate a system just like in Studio 500 Logix Emulate just for testing/learning purposes.

As long as you have PLCSIM installed, you can just click on "start simulation" and it will start up a virtual PLC. Your TIA Portal license covers PLCSIM. You can do anything you can do with the plc and HMI. So you can use watch and force tables to modify values. Look in one of my livestreams where I go through them. My next edited video is going to be about PLCSIM...
