German and Swedish washing machine brands are known for the quality of their products, we call it Deutsch qualität or German quality (German brands) or Scandinavian quality (Swedish brands) if you prefer like miele, Bosch, Siemens Neff, gaggenau AEG, ASKO etc.
these models of washing machines are extremely difficult to find unless you buy it used in its original condition but the iSensoric are easier to find whether in stores or second hand
There are also brands of Swiss washing machines which are also known for their manufacturing quality, we call it Swiss made or Swiss manufacturing if you prefer, we have examples like V-ZUG, Schulthess etc.
@@Wasmachineman I remember a Bauknecht Dynamic Sense Dolphin WA1600 having this type of brushed DC motor. It was very quiet on the rinses and mainwash but sounded like a normal brushed motor on spins. Quite weird to reply now after 5 months lol
Got this in a 1400 spin model £900 in 2004 a lot of money but the tech was a head of its time better than most of to day mine in shed wrapped up just has a spare?
Because it has a brushed DC motor, not universal motor. And universal motor is a brushed motor that can run both in DC and AC power, it has no magnets and only electromagnet using windings, it uses stator windings and armature windings. But brushed DC motor can only run on DC, but it does use magnets which are just attached to the wall and not the rotor, the rotor is the stator of itself because it has windings, so it's also called the armature. And both universal motor and brushed DC motor work similarly.
