Good catch on that one! I actually ended up playing a bit more with that feature as I made the video and decided to leave it out. It's available but doesn't seem as natural to new users as adding the tags manually. I have a video coming up that goes over how to copy/paste large arrays of tags from the PLC to the HMI application.
That's an excellent catch Luis. The truth is that I should have edited the video and made all the tags as M (memory). I had shot the initial footage using Q which was wrong, but didn't stop me from testing the basic logic we wrote. They should all be M.
To clarify further, Q tags are tied to outputs. Since we didn't have any physical outputs in this case, it didn't really matter. The M tags are memory bits which is what we should have used. Alternatively, the push buttons could have been "I" and the LEDs "Q".
