Assembly FEM is an approach available in Simcenter 3D (or previously NX CAE), to manage meshing process for large assembly up to hundreds of components.
Benefits of Assembly FEM:
1. Better mesh organization
2. Distributed meshing workload to multiple members
3. Re-use mesh for identical children component
4. If children CAD is replaced, new mesh for new children can be updated as well.
