I’m so glad to see a budget mattress perform well on your tests. I’m curious what you’d think about this vs the Dreamfoam Hybrid vs the Allswell Original. They’re at similar price points.
I haven't tested the Allswell Original yet, but did recently test the Allswell Cool here - naplab.com/mattress-reviews/allswell-cool-mattress-review/ At least the Allswell Cool had a solid performance, but it still lagged behind Siena, most notably in Motion Transfer. DreamFoam is one that I tested several years ago, but it's been a long while. In any case, I remember it being okay, but nothing all that impressive. At the time it wasn't a mattress I recommended often for the budget category. In my view, when it comes to ultra budget mattresses your best option is almost always a foam mattress. The quality different between inexpensive foam and inexpensive coils is pretty dramatic.
@@NapLabReviews Thanks for the input. Brooklyn Bedding manufactures the DreamFoam & Allswell hybrids, which is usually pretty decent quality, but they also might’ve changed w/COVID.
@@karaygeoushearts DreamFoam is manufactured and owned by Brooklyn Bedding. BB used to manufacture Allswell (which is owned by Walmart), however, recently they moved their manufacturing. They don't say exactly where it's being manufactured, but in my view, it looks like coded marketing language for overseas (likely China, possibly Eastern Europe).
Hi! I'm loving the data driven reviews. I was wondering if you have a recommendation between the Siena, Leesa studio, and Layla memory foam for a light combination sleeper? Or any others that you would recommend as a budget option in the memory foam category
Layla and Siena are a good bit better than the Leesa Studio, based on our tests. As far as which as better...I'd say it's a toss up. Really more of a which feel you prefer. Layla has a more pronounced memory foam feel, Siena is more of a poly foam feel with a less dramatic hug. I would also suggest you taking a look at Douglas. For a Queen size under $500 your best choice is going to be the Siena. Really hard to beat this mattress at this price range. And thanks so much! Glad to hear my videos are hitting the right marks 😊

Overall, I just wasn't impressed. The all foam Siena is a much better mattress than the hybrid. Definitely the fiberglass isn't great...but it is also the norm at this price point. So if you've got to be at this price point just get a full encasement mattress protector to make sure if there is a fiberglass leak that it stays inside the protector. The only other option would be to notably increase the budget.

You labeled the bottom layer as “pocketed coils” twice in this video when explaining the layers. This mattress has no pocketed coils. Otherwise, I liked the video.
