Sierra definitely has her own country style,. When drawing comparisons I always would be drawn to names like Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline, seems kinda stupid not to have thought of Janis Joplin. It's obvi this suits her to a tee. I would hope/imagine we will see more Joplin Covers. The thought of her singing Cry Baby (or others) is extremely appealing #SierraFerrell

There are certain covers that artists should never do in my opinion. Not because they aren't great songs but because the original is just too good and you will look and sound like a hack trying to do it justice. BUT that was really good and I enjoyed it. Janis wasn't just an exceptional singing voice she had a certain playful, mischievous and soulful way about her and this lady seems to have that as well. I saw the song that was being covered and just thought yeah I'm not going to like it but I really did =) 👏
