Neoconservative paranoia and racism built a bubble in country music. It’s about fealty to a culture war and conservative ideologues instead of its hell raising rebel roots. Can’t have people that look different or accept all humans. That’s just not okay…….
I love her. Her voice has a quality to it I cannot quite define, I keep saying it reminds me of something you'd hear playing across the desert from a half-broken, dusty transistor radio when you emerge from Vault-Tec's Vault 101.
Gosh I love to see the musicians interact [for lack of a better word] with each other on this one. After I saw this Vid for the second time i asked myself: "Self, who is the star here"/ OMG what a lineup! Love, Love, Love
This is great. Sierra Ferrell!...I didn't know her 10 minutes ago. Saw her perform the same song on a video from Newport...and now this... what a force of nature. She reminds me of a young Bob Dylan.
these 2 have different and similar backgrounds - tough- and SO HAPPY for them both- so talented and music saved their lives! we are so fortunate to support them ❤❤❤❤
Yeah, this woman is a gem. Glad to see more people are learning about her. Her voice is beautifully unique and comes feom a time long ago. Great song and great compliment from BMFS.
Love this girl, too. But her fashion sense? Interesting. Having said that, she is the best thing to hit the country music scene in a long time. What a talent!
That’s one fine group of musicians assembled on that stage. Sierra’s voice is so melodic it’s a joy to listen to. I was starting to believe that country and rock a billy and bluegrass were slipping away but, judging from what is appearing, it going to be just fine.
Art nouveau comes alive and Mucha is musically painted, beaming from Sierra's otherworldly presence. This girl is from another time and place and we are so fortunate she shares her artistry with us.
